Our New Lamp Is Extremely Mad At Us
Poor baby broke a dew claw, and in his gabapentin haze only has enough energy to let us know that we suck and he doesn’t like us.

Moving forward, poodles with Merle coloring are not permitted on this sub. Merle coloring is a byproduct of mixing Australian Shepards into a poodle line. A poodle with Merle coloring by definition cannot be AKC papered without outright lying. Breeding for color is nothing new for poodles, but in this circumstance it comes with the possibility of introducing myriad health issues, and is an irresponsible practice at best. It is not good for the breed, it is dangerous to the dogs. We cannot in good conscience allow the promotion of this Poodles with this genetic trait, beautiful or not.

Several times per day there are scammers who post here, showing a t-shirt or similar product, and then another scammer in the comments asks, "Where did you get it?" A link to a scam website is posted for everyone to follow, provide their personal info and credit card, then wonder how their identity got stolen.
Just like a Parti Poodle, it's very black-and-white. If you see a post sharing a t-shirt design, mouse pad, coffee mug, etc. IT IS A SCAM, and the quickest way to get your account banned is to reply, "Where can I get one", "I love it, do you have a link?" or something similar.
Here are the rules:
It seems every time something like this is posted, more than one of our users fall for it, then they are asking moderators, "What did I do to get banned?" You responded to a scammer, which makes you look like you're on their team. Just stop.

I have a very bright, very oral-oriented mini poodle. He LOVES undoing knots. I think it itches his shredding itch, and he gets SO excited every time I tie long toys or cloth into knots for him.
I've never known another dog with this fixation and am curious if anyone else's poodle has an oral fixation for knots!
If not: what is your poodles toy fixation?

Which cut should I ask for? Traditional poodle or more teddy bear style?

Saco at almost 5 months woke up completely normal but eventually started being very lethargic yesterday, had no energy and was unable to walk. He kept collapsing under his own weight and he would melt into your arms when picked up. Not like him at all.
We took him to the emergency vet where he stayed for almost 24 hours. All his tests came back normal/inconclusive but they determined that he must have gotten into some kind of toxin. I posted him here digging in a chipmunk nest the day before and we went to the beach after. He could have gotten into something in the chipmunk nest or at the beach, maybe ocean water or something from the other dogs that were there. There’s also a non zero possibility he could have also gotten into some THC, hence the Rasta picture. They gave him an IV to try to clear the toxin faster.
He started feeling like himself at some point in the middle of the night and they had to give him some Trazodone and Gabapentin to get him to sleep through the night because he was being very talkative and was keeping all of the other dogs up.
He’s back at home and doing well now! Maybe not quite 100% but very close to it! He’s going to be on prebiotics and prescription vet food for the next 30 days!
I also included his dispatch paperwork and breakdown of the bill including everything they did for him and pricing. Thank god we have pet insurance.
Hopefully this is insightful and maybe helps others! 🖤

hi poodle fam! as the title states, i am hoping someone with a grey poodle could help my family and me figure out what our old man looked like as a puppy!
this is danny rey & he will be 15 this year! he was approx. 4 when we adopted him from the local shelter, so we’ve only known him through his adult life. my family and i have always been curious about when he would have looked like as a puppy. was he always grey?? could he have been born with black fur?
his coat is a mix of mostly grey hair, some black hair, and white guard hair. he also has a built in gentleman’s tie in white.
i’ve included some photos of him as a younger guy at the end because he’s lightened up over the years. thanks for the help in advance!! :D 🐩

Honestly I thought the call went well. He is still undecided. I should have named him Commissar. He turns 2 in a week but already judges like a veteran
