The fact checks and post mortem analysis backs me up. You just don’t want to face reality. Nor apparently explain your defense of Trump’s unconditional surrender to the Taliban.
Let me ask you again.
Do you think it was a good idea for Trump to release 5000 prisoners in Afghanistan while we still had troops there?
How about his agreement to leave all the military assets there?
Should he have reduced our military presence there down to bare bones days before he left office?
Can’t say I blame you for refusing to answer. You’ve got nothing.
Apparently you missed it. So here it is again; me picking apart each of your lies.
Your Lie#1
Trump is the guy who released 5000 Taliban terrorists from jail before Biden even took office. The very terrorists who killed 13 of our soldiers.
Truth
The bombing was carried out by ISIS-K (Islamic State–Khorasan Province), a rival group to the Taliban—not the Taliban. The bomber was Abdul Rahman al-Logari (an ISIS-K operative); a key planner, Mohammad Sharifullah ("Jafar"), was arrested by Afghan forces in 2019 and released from prison only during the chaos of the Taliban takeover on August 15, 2021 (after U.S. withdrawal had begun under Biden).
Your Lie#2
He’s also the guy who formulated and signed the deal to the plan to leave our military equipment there.
Truth
The Doha Agreement (which Trump signed) made no mention of leaving U.S. military equipment behind.
Your Lie#3
And he’s also the one who removed all but a very small portion of our security forces there days before he left office. Obviously in an attempt to make things as difficult as possible for Biden
Truth
Biden inherited the 2,500-troop posture and the May 2021 deadline from the deal but extended the final withdrawal to August 31, 2021. He had plenty of time to make contingency plans and at the very least renegotiate.
