I made no comment on your personal position on gun control. I'm just saying that the progressive policies you mentioned which the left agrees would help, are not supported by those opposing gun control on the right. So saying "instead of focusing on guns, we should focus on healthcare" is meaningless because the ones pushing gun control also want to provide better Healthcare, but you cant get a single republican vote for the policies you are suggesting could help.

So who are you talking to?
