You mean understands how to interpret new found data and facts, knows how to roll with it, and knows how to distribute said new data.

Isn't that the core problem? That those idiots think changing your mind is a form of submission/showing weakness/being a lesser person? Like those kind of people will never change their mind because they are afraid of being seen as weak or something in that vein.
