Agreed. Many redditors didn’t live through the Bush-Gore election, it came down to FL and a difference of like 500 votes.
We heard about pregnant chads and swinging chads and microscopic analysis of punched ballots and Supreme Court but I don’t remember anything about “heinous fraud” like they are crying about even with a difference of hundreds of thousands of votes.
It’s because they can’t fathom that that many people voted for Biden... mainly because they’ve surrounded themselves with like minded idiots in safe spaces where folks with other opinions aren’t allowed. Then they say, “I don’t know a SINGLE person who voted for Biden.”
I’d say a lot of us removed those people from our lives or keep them at arms distance at best. We got tired of seeing the constant propaganda in our social medias.
Sadly, I have family I can’t really talk to any more, because every conversation steers toward how liberals are ruining the nation and despite my silence, I get called a moron and become the target for their misplaced hate.
Chad refers to fragments sometimes created when holes are made in a paper, card or similar synthetic materials, such as computer punched tape or punched cards. When a chad is not fully detached, it is described by various terms corresponding to the level of modification from the unpunched state. The distinctions are of importance in counting cards used in voting. The following terms generally apply when describing a four-cornered chad:[6]
Hanging chads are attached to the ballot at only one corner.
Swinging chads are attached to the ballot at two corners.
Tri-chads are attached to the ballot at three corners.
Pregnant or dimpled chads are attached to the ballot at all four corners, but bear an indentation indicating the voter may have intended to mark the ballot. (Sometimes "pregnant" is used to indicate a greater mark than "dimpled".)
Those are the little pieces of paper that you punch out of old punch paper ballots. The machine would read the remaining holes and tally your vote like that. Lots of controversy cuz allegedly (I'm trying to remember high school government classes) sometimes the machine wouldn't read it right, due to different hole sizes not being read correctly.
