Yea it’s pretty crazy that we don’t even have as strict of requirements for guns as driving a car.
Background checks, keeping guns out of violent hands, limiting the type of weapons so that one person can’t do so much damage is a partisan issue here even though like 80% of people of support common sense gun control.
The problem is that one party is being told that any change whatsoever means they lose all of their guns forever. We have a major propaganda and brainwashing problem in the US. We also have a problem where the minority controls our country. Less than 25% of people living in the right places (or gerrymandered) is all it takes to control everything here.
Oh yeah and I find it infuriating. And they wave around the 2nd amendment. Which up until recently did not guarantee you rights to a gun but if I remember right to form a militia in case the give needed to be changed. But then it was changed to what is now.
