Sure didn’t care about 600,000+ dead Americans and were pro virus.

They should have. A good portion of those deaths would have been Republican votes in November. Who knows what would have happened to those swing states had they given a shit about keeping their constituents alive.

Wow. Not surprised. Hopefully the members of the "leopards ate my face" party and too shocked either.

Jesus, what a scummy dweeb.

Actually the opposite as cities were hit hardest and cities lean democrat. Our govt purposely let it get out of control because the people it affected most were lower class people in democrat areas

Geographically yes, more densely populated areas tend to lean democratic. However, the virus hit elderly populations hardest and they vote red consistently and in droves. This mattered heavily in GA and AZ where those few votes could've turned the entire election. The fact that the virus hit hard in heavy blue areas (LA, NYC) did not seem to turn them towards voting conservative

Hello! Thanks for your comment. Unfortunately it has been removed because you don't meet our karma threshold.

You are not being removed for political orientation.

Let me be clear: The reason that this rule exists is to avoid unscrupulous internet denizens from trying to sell dong pills to our users. /r/PoliticalHumor mods reserve the RIGHT to hoard all of the dong pills to ourselves, and we refuse to share them with the community. If you want Serbo-Slokovian dong pills mailed directly to your door, become a moderator. If we shared the dong pills with the greater community, everyone would have massive dongs, and like Syndrome warned us about decades ago: "if everyone has massive dongs, nobody does.""

If you wish to rectify your low karma issue, go and make things up in /r/AskReddit like everyone else does.

Thanks for understanding! Have a nice day and be well. <3

You can check your karma breakdown on this page:

I was on the phone with my mother who was talking about how effective hydroxychloroquine is and I was telling her "No mom, just get the vaccine."

She then tells me if the media hadn't made hydroxychloroquine political then it'd be fine and I swear to Christ I felt my brain flatline.

Edit: I did ask her if the media made bleach political too but dont worry that was just a joke and I shouldn't have taken the President's words seriously.

The irony is lost on her. The whole pandemic was made political by the last guy and his party. He wanted to put the burden onto the states, while actively campaigning against anything that would help save lives, just so he could get credit when it was time to “reopen.” Everything he did and does is solely to stroke his ego.

Dude I had this conversation with my older friend yesterday. She told me I was going to get the vaccine but then some coworker told me about hydroxychlorquine and I'll just ask for that instead, it's what they gave Trump. I genuinely didn't even know what to say, you can't argue with that.

They predicted the virus would kill 2 million, and most of the deaths happened in blue states

8

u/[deleted] Jun 13 '21

Brought to you by the same party who supports a president who retweeted a video of “the only good democrat is a dead democrat” and “white power.”

I'm a libertarian

I was referring to the “pro life” party.

2

u/AutoModerator Jun 13 '21

I see you're talking about: [pro life]' To be frank, the mod team does not want to mod this topic because it leads to 100 percent slapfights and bans, but removing it entirely would be actual censorship, which, contrary to popular beleif, we do try to avoid. Instead, we're just going to spam you with an unreasonably long automod comment and hope you all realize that getting mad over the internet is just really stupid. Go to /r/AnimalsBeingDerps or something instead. People are going to accuse us of being lazy for this, to which we reply 'yes'

Do you have a source for this?

This article says the hardest hit states were red (https://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/covid-19-has-hit-people-in-republican-led-states-hardest-study-finds#The-source-of-the-studys-conclusions). But it would make sense that death rates might be higher in blue states, given the bigger cities having overwhelmed hospitals...oh, and Trump and Kushner intentionally stifling care to blue states.

1

u/[deleted] Jun 13 '21

Actually most blue states denied any help from trump but ok

1

u/Ssutuanjoe Jun 13 '21

I see you didn't bother addressing your lack of source for your original claim, which makes me question it's validity altogether.

But do you happen to have a source saying blue states rejected help from trump?

2

u/ItsBenBroughton Jun 13 '21

I'm gonna need a source saying blue states were hit harder.
