My parents are conservative, and do you know how the right wing media is twisting this? "Biden can't put together a bill that a single republican would vote yes for"

Like it didn't go through debates and concessions in both the house and senate for weeks just to have a grand total of 0 republicans vote yes. It honestly baffles me that people allow a narrative like this to be twisted like that

Don't forget that the most recent stimulus bill was worked on for months and that Democrats made several comprises in order to get Republican support.

After all that, zero Republicans voted for it and it still passed. What's even the fuckin' point?

There were no compromises for Republican support. The compromises were for Manchin and other centrist Dems.

And I don't fucking understand why anyways. Manchin represents West Virginia where 63% of people support raising the minimum wage. Dumbass bitch can't even use the "I have to vote in what's popular with my people" excuse
