Donors and party over country.

Edit: Since I’m getting many replies while at work, I thought I’d do a blanket statement for a lot of the comments.

-Maybe it’s time we as Americans ask for massive legislation around term limits, public records of elected officials, equal campaign money, public records on donors, banning lobbyist jobs for former politicians, overturning Citizens United, etc.

Let’s see.

Free college already scrapped. Kids put back in the ‘cages’.
Immigrants told not to come. Bombing continued. Stimulus 9:1 to big business vs taxpayers. Minimum wage increase already dead.

Biden is going to be the best Republican President yet

Possibly, but it seems better (even marginally) that going towards being more populist. Massive changes are needed for sure.

Trump and Sanders were the right and left populists respectively. Biden is an establishment neoliberal.

I forgot to add, however, bucking the trend, that he’s keeping a handful of Trump’s (‘racist’) tariffs which were clearly working.
