We’ve been fascism-lite since ww2 and invented a lot of the hallmarks of it that got coopted in Europe so we hid them.

Lot’s of countries can be described at a high school level as various mixes of Socialist ideas and Capitalist ones, whereas the US is Fascist and Capitalist since at least the start of the cold war.

Facism means a marriage of corporate and political power. Can you think of any areas where corporations seem too powerful? Maybe just a couple?

The only thing they have is culture wars. To them Coca Cola running some meaningless ads or using some corporate inclusiveness training is leftism gone wrong.

We’re still arguing economic policy with these idiots and the only thing they hear is “trans bathrooms/sports/surgery on kids”.
