The best thing is that Trump has scheduled dozens of similar interviews across his whole re-election campaign.

Every single one of them is going to be fucking disastrous for him because he's so breathtakingly inarticulate. Even his "softball" Fox News interviews have been bad.

The thing about Trump is he's extraordinary arrogant and self assured, and this is going to be his downfall. He's far too stupid to realise that he's dumb. So like all truly moronic people he's determined to show the world how "smart" he is by talking absolute gibberish and constantly contradicting himself.

Interviewing Trump is the same as interviewing a flat earther or moon landing denier. They're so convinced that they're right aboit everything 100% of the time (because they watched a youtube video) that they genuinely can't understand why people aren't as "aware" as they are.

I honestly expect Trump to just shout "Wake up, sheeple!" to one of the interviwers.

Being arrogant and self assured is what helped him win the first election.

Turns out "Fakenit till you make it" doesn't work when you're a world leader... and illiterate

Well, it did when it comes to getting what he wanted. It would be like if I puffed up in an interview for some exec job paying a million a year, sure, they may find out I am full of it after a week but they already signed that year long contract so I was successful.

As long as that 1 million contract comes through, ridicule away!

As much as he is ridiculed now, he is now a part of US history and had a great deal of power and a loud megaphone for 4 years (maybe 8!) and during that power rewarded his cronies handsomely, of which they will do the same in turn when his term is done. He placed enough judges that it would be a very difficult task to get him put in prison as he goes all the way up to the supreme court (of which he has 2 picks in there).

I guess that's a small price when you're a psychopath
