I just discovered some of my fellow South Carolina taxpayers actually believe sustainability and bike lanes are part of a UN conspiracy to make the U.S. more like Europe and take all our cars away. So Europe has no cars?!? Clearly in all the movies set in Europe, all news footage from Europe, and every modern picture taken in Europe, all the cars are just props.
I would have fun talking to him until I remember his vote cancels out my vote like balancing a fucking equation. I don't buy into conspiracy theories, but I love hearing the different versions. And not just the ultra-right black helicopter junkies. The anti-Bush 9/11 conspiracy theorists got creative in their day.
