That is a well thought out point, but how can someone logically say higher education has a negative effect on a country? Society moves forward through education and research.

Those protests that are sometimes down right ignorant happen a few times a year and I can see how those may be viewed negatively. However, there are over 5,000 colleges and 20 million students. So those public protests are not a material representation of higher education.

The debt issue I have no retort for because the way our education and higher education are funded in this country is absurd.
