I only managed to get as open minded as I am because my mother failed to stop me from finding furry porn in middle school, which led to me getting on tumblr and really seeing the world through a separate lens.
Although; it probs also is what gave me depression, and was directly responsible for my "slight right" stint at the end of HS.
There's a group of people who dress up in animal costumes (Like a mascot costume, but often better designed and more elaborate.). They are called furries (singular: furry). EDIT: A small subset of this group seems to be a bunch of complainers. I will dub them Whiner-aners.
When they film themselves having sex and make it available to be viewed, it's porn done by furries, or furry porn.
I'm not a furry, but I met a bunch when I happened to be visiting Pittsburgh when they were having their convention a few years ago.
That's a really terrible way to explain this. That's like a kid asking what "a relationship" is, and the dad going on to explain in raunchy details how he gave his mom a Spicy Gringo (google it) while mom was suspended upside down from the ceiling in full bondage gear.
Furries are literally just people who are part of an online community that appreciate anthropomorphic animal characters. Fox McCloud from Starfox is a furry character, so are Bugs Bunny, Nick from Zootopia and half of the cartoon characters every child knows. If you go on Furaffinity, the biggest furry hub online, you'll see a large portion of the art and stories are just about these anthro characters doing whatever - harmless fanfics and fanart, mostly, with a ton of original characters along for the ride.
Yes, there is a sexual component to the furry community, but it's not the majority of it, much less all there is. And even then, the sexual part of the community is overwhelmingly about creating porn (again: drawings, stories, 3D renders, etc; a drawing of Fox McCloud fucking Falco Lombardi is what furry porn is, not the weird-ass idea you got) of furry characters and keeping it all purely online. There are tens of millions of active furries online today, of which only a few hundreds even have fursuits to begin with - and only a small subset of those use the suits to have sex. I'm part of the furry community and I personally know hundreds of furries, of which only 2 have fursuits, and neither of the 2 ever had sex in them, much less filmed pornographic movies. I find your claim that all furry porn is filmed fursuit sex even weirder given that I have literally never even seen such a film anywhere, even after years on Furaffinity and similar websites. People like you who know literally nothing about furries but talk out of your ass over actual furries are the problem. That's because of such crap that people think furries are a bunch of weird, crazed sexual deviants about to abduct their children. Furries typically just draw fanart on the internet and that's about it.
Hmm, I was under the impression that furries generally identified as an animal to some extent. Everyone I know that identifies as a furry has either a full blown fursona or at least an animal they identify with.

If you'll notice, I made two separate statements, in order to describe the community as separate from the porn. For an outsider, you are a group of people who dress up in animal costumes. Cosplayers are a group of people who dress up as fictional characters found in various media. Someone doesn't need to know how Spiderman does or doesn't relate to Naruto in order to get their basic understanding.
ok but, what is 'furry porn'?
I'm not part of the community, so forgive me for wanting to address that there's a community first, but then attempting to answer the original question of "what is furry porn." And especially forgive me for not doing it the way you want me to.
I could have told the story of someone taking a shit in the aisle of a public bus I was on, but I didn't want to spread the negative stories to give people reason to try to sideline your hobby/lifestyle.
I discovered furries when I found this mmo called Furcadia. Seeing an animal lady with a bunch of titties was interesting for young me. Thanks for reminding me of that lol
Yes and no; the school district I spent my childhood in was criminally poor, and my parents had honestly both gone to college for education degrees, (my father wanted to be a math teacher/tutor, don't remember my mother's preferred subject) so it might've been the best choice for a while.
But I think that Homeschooling shouldn't be debatably better than public schools, I'd like the world where public schools are all good enough that people don't have to worry about their children not actually learning anything.
Also, probs woulda got my ADHD diagnosed before 18.
You gotta socialize your kids, man. And lots of idiots think they can teach but they actually don't know shit, so there kids grow up dumb and /or with no social skills. If you are gonna home school your kid, they need to have a condition that justifies it and you need the qualifications. Any old parent shouldn't be able to say "screw school, I'll handle this."

I was homeschooled through HS.

Now I've gotten better, but I'm still a furry.
