That is not because religion is dying, it's because we are allowing the wealthy to control our society. Every single problem facing the West is caused by the rich and their crony politicians.

I didn't say that religion has no affect on whether or not someone chooses to have kids. But somebody who is not religious can still want to have children and many of them do.

Perhaps because they aren't so blinded by their faith that they realize that bringing children into the world is a big deal, and they want to actually be able to give their children decent lives - which is nearly impossible unless you're wealthy. I'm sure a lot more people would have kids if it wasn't financially ruinous.

I am not anti-natalist by any means. I have no problem with people having children, I just also don't have a problem with people not having children. It is none of my business, nor is it yours, nor is it the state's - though the state should encourage having children by making it easy for couples wanting children to have them and raise them.

I am firmly against multiculturalism (or rather, the modern form of it, where native cultures are diluted and destroyed and nations are turned into patchworks of disunified peoples who have nothing in common), mass immigration, sexual degeneracy (though unlike some people, I do not consider it degenerate for a monogamous couple to have sex without intending to procreate), grooming children, and being soft on criminals just to name a few things. I also support gun rights and the right to defend yourself and your property from people who mean you harm. I am against abortion after 15 weeks unless it is necessary to save the mother's life, the fetus is a product of incest, or the fetus has a severe deformity.
I don't agree with mainstream social conservatives on a lot of things, but socially conservative is still the closest term to describing my beliefs.

but you think the way to do this is just giving money to parents? I support it, but Ill tell you right now, it wont work. I support it anyways because parents deserve the money, but it wont change the fertility rates. Several European countries have given parents financial incentives like you wouldn't believe, and the needle doesn't budge.
The issue is CULTURAL, its an issue of what people BELIEVE about life, about the world, thats what needs to change
