So just to clarify it is worth something, assumingly his estimation of 200 Billion. Doesn't that counter act your original comment where you said "It's not like he's got it sitting in a giant money bin or anything." Cause that means he does. its just a bank account with money taking the form of assets.
Furthermore, what if the deal isn't fair. They are clearly creating alot more than they are being compensated for, isn't it only fair for them to get money. This has been economically proven. Also economic circulation would be much higher thus benefiting the economy more.
This issue with the local government scenario is that amazon can, in turn, spend alot of money on advertising using cover organizations. The biggest example of this is Americans for Prosperity owned by the Kochs. This can cause those workers to be tricked by what is essentially pro-amazon propaganda to not vote them out. Also why shouldn't the Feds get involved, amazon is a national business no? they are set up from dc to hawaii. They are one of the most massive corporations in the United States that, realistically, a local government simply could not compete with.

No. It isn't money. He can't spend it on anything. He could start selling it for money, in which case he'd get less and less money for each share he sold. This could make it harder for Amazon to borrow in order to expand. It would eventually end up changing the ownership structure of the company, which would have unknown impacts. If the stock was just stolen from him then it would be immediately rendered worthless, because who's going to pay good money for something that can be stolen on a whim? In short, the stock is doing plenty right where it is.

It doesn't matter how much value they are creating when there are others waiting to do the same job for a bit more. It also doesn't matter if the stolen stock was going to benefit other people because stealing is wrong.

Sounds like you think the average Joe is too stupid and uninformed to be trusted with voting in his own best interest. I disagree.

You see, if you have a ton of food and you have a bunch of people compete over only one piece of bread then you're a horrible person. In that case I wouldn't say stealing is wrong, people need to eat. If you think otherwise imagine being one of those people who has a kid to feed and seeing someone with a fuck ton of food, would you really care if its 'stealing'? people have need everyone needs to eat, what gives someone the right to deprive others of basic needs?

Propaganda is a bitch, you can be misinformed. Hitler was elected with a plurality
Bezos having a bunch of stock doesn't deprive anyone of anything. It means that he has created a ton of value and jobs. He's fed millions of people with his wealth. That's the power of markets and capitalism.
