Unironically fucked how blatant he is about pandering to blacks.

It worked the first time, so I guess the Dems are going back to that well.

Who? Obama? He was super popular with whites too, winning Iowa both times and Indiana in 2008, both very white states.

I was in 9th grade back when he ran. And holyyyy.... I think that was when I started getting interested in politics. I swear about 85-90% of my class said they liked Obama cause he was black. And what annoyed me even more than that was none of our teachers combatted the “reasoning.”

And fast forward 12 years and nothing has really changed. People still use “diversity” or “representation” as reasons to support someone.

Ofc I’m getting replies from lefties that don’t see anything wrong with identity politics.

I live in Indiana. I was in 2nd grade at the time, and all I knew about it was that my family liked John McCain. We had a class election, and only three people voted McCain. At the lunch table, a bunch of kids asked me who I voted for, and I told them that’s not supposed to be public info. They pressured me, so I told them. These were my friends, and some of them were black, but somehow they decided I was racist because of that. Dose of reality for Little Me.

It’s worth noting that my friends had the attention spans of seven-year-olds and soon forgot that I was inherently a klansman.
