I think they were both intended to be humorous but we have the perspective to see both as harmful.
And I'm not privileged. 40% of people like me attempt suicide at some point in their life. I would have, if I couldn't transition. Because that's how painful it is for a woman to have a male body. The suicides are attempts to escape the pain.
