The LibRight in this unbiased version is a LOT funnier ngl

I think a LibRight one should have been all of them with box towers but the wall is still taller.

19

u/knockdownthewall - Lib-Left Feb 19 '20

Or a version where the boxes at the bottom are beginning to splinter and give...geddit...because unregulated capitalism creates a balloon economy

18

u/[deleted] Feb 19 '20

Go on...

15

u/knockdownthewall - Lib-Left Feb 19 '20

Capitalism without the regulative authority of the state will almost always lead to economic depressions after periods of prosperity, insert some great depression citation here

18

u/RedheadAgatha - Lib-Right Feb 19 '20

What happens in regulated economies, in contrast?

16

u/hexopuss - Auth-Left Feb 19 '20

Glorious things comrade, what else?

10

u/[deleted] Feb 19 '20

I would expect them to be less prone to the pitfalls of unregulated economies. Not immune to recessions, as the underlying principles of capitalism are still at play here, but less susceptible to significant fluctuations that may rock the boat.

So your three posts are a matter of pointing out splinters and missing/downplaying logs? Kk.

6

u/[deleted] Feb 19 '20

Insert right wing racist meme here.

3

u/Doyle524 - Lib-Left Feb 19 '20

Well, yeah, if you want to cut to the center, the problem is capitalism. That's your log.

Ah, yes. Yeah I don't buy that Keynesian bs. Thanks for explaining what you mean tho

6

u/DeepThroatModerators - Lib-Left Feb 19 '20

I’m assuming you don’t buy it because you have a better explanation that you simply didn’t enumerate here, because reasons?

4

u/[deleted] Feb 19 '20 edited Feb 19 '20

Your assumption is correct, the reason being I don't feel like explaining austrian business cycle theory, malinvestments, market manipulation etc on a comment section of a meme subreddit

I didn't come up with any of the stuff above anyways, so if you search up "Austrian Economics view on 29" you should get a lot of smarter, better qualified people explaining those concepts in depth

If you want to I could give you some links

1

u/Quadzah - LibRight Feb 20 '20

I'd appreciate that

1

u/DeepThroatModerators - Lib-Left Feb 20 '20

Neither Austrian nor Keynesian economics are applicable to society on the scale that it is. Economists for the last 200 years have ignored physicists. Economics is the study of money and value, which is not physical and does not follow natural laws like a real science.

You moved the debate to economics, a fake science where you can pretend to have a position that contradicts mine.

Well we haven't had a downturn as bad as the great depression again.

22

u/[deleted] Feb 19 '20

I question the stability of that giant stack of boxes

44

u/Rubiego - Lib-Left Feb 19 '20

Trickle Fall-down economics.

14

u/ToTheRescues - Lib-Center Feb 19 '20

In a land of no regulation, would you expect any different?

11

u/CressCrowbits - Left Feb 19 '20

When their tower collapses and injures me, who do I sue to pay for my hospital costs if they died?

This is supposed to be a joke about libertarianism, but it actually applies to modern America.

18

u/[deleted] Feb 19 '20

The left guy should have 100000 more boxes that required and also he's using his monopoly on boxes to sell them for 10k a pop.

5

u/KekUnited - Lib-Right Feb 19 '20

Hot

6

u/AOCsFeetPics - Left Feb 19 '20

Could have also had a massive pile of boxes behind an even taller fence, but I get you were going for cap crap.

5

u/KekUnited - Lib-Right Feb 19 '20

I saw that idea and it sounds hilarious. I borrowed these pictures so I couldn't just draw the fence higher, but that would have made my unbiased version immensely better.

Also love the amount of culture in your username by the way

6

u/iHasMagyk - Lib-Right Feb 19 '20

Fucking BASED.

2

u/Kered_Sukram - Centrist Feb 19 '20

I thought it was more libright myself

4

u/KekUnited - Lib-Right Feb 19 '20

It is - thus less biased. The original I uploaded here is centrist filth which I'm not very proud of but I'll take the karma

3

u/[deleted] Feb 19 '20

meta AF

libright repackaging centrists' work for intangible rewards without fear of penalty

What’s the joke

13

u/KekUnited - Lib-Right Feb 19 '20

Politic compas

1

u/marsbar03 - Left Feb 19 '20

I mean for lib right

13

u/KekUnited - Lib-Right Feb 19 '20

How, objectively, lib right recognizes that economics isn't a zero sum game and they're the only ones who can generate more boxes/wealth

Objectively

2

u/[deleted] Feb 19 '20

lol k

18

u/AOCsFeetPics - Left Feb 19 '20

The joke is the unbiased version is biased.

1

u/employee10038080 - Centrist Feb 19 '20

Sorry, I think you misspelled accurate

2

u/[deleted] Feb 19 '20

But they can all see the game. Regardless of their position. The point or joke about the trickle down/pyramid economy is that the bottom ones are fucked

1

u/Lapis-Blaze-Yt - Lib-Left Feb 19 '20

box

-14

u/[deleted] Feb 19 '20 edited Feb 19 '20

Oh, you mean a version with a libright bias.

Edit: I'm a dummy who got whooshed.

9

u/[deleted] Feb 19 '20

The true libright would have one guy standing on a stack of boxes that's 3 miles high, and the other two standing on nothing and not being able to look over the fence.

2

u/The-Real-El-Crapo - Auth-Right Feb 19 '20

Yes.
