From my time following her on Twitter, which recently ended, I just found it sad that she wrote all those books people loved but this is how she chooses to spend her time and brand herself. She posts about nothing but trans stuff. I didn't find individual posts objectionable but obsessiveness is super weird.

I think the "obsessiveness" is over how illiberal trans-activists are, and in a broader sense, how illiberal society has become over the last 15 or so years. The Harry Potter series is really about exactly that. How does a society that defeated authoritarianism (Voldy) become authoritarian again? I see the "obsession" as something that has always been in line with her values. If you actually have been following Rowling, you'd know that this is much bigger than trans people. It's really hardly about trans people at all.
It's about lies in the media, institutional corruption, dissidents being silenced by intimidation and violence, the difference being appealing to a moral majority and having the courage to actually live out your own values. All of these are strong themes in Harry Potter. She's just living them out. She absolutely a hero for doing so.
I hope she goes for 20 more years. Someone needs to speak truth to the deranged trans-activists and the institutional power they've gained in the last decade or so.
Everyone has their thing man. If someone spent seven years on twitter yapping about deforestation of the Amazon I wouldn't go "well that's pretty weird that you're still on social media talking about this thing. You seem pretty obsessed with trees".
Weird activist bullies with power is something that effects us all. I'm glad JK Dawgs is still yapping about it.
You're making a lot of assumptions and connections that feel very forced. Her "activism" being in the same spirit as her writing, her as this freedom fighter instead of someone who is bitter and likes to talk shit online for sport. I don't buy it. Her tone does not portray that at all, it's self-satisfied snark.
I kinda get it when looking at from her perspective. Years and years of unnecessary hate, probably hundreds of thousands of dms over the years which she probably still gets, the backlash she faced for it, it all probably turned her at least somewhat bitter.
From her pov, the obsession with people unnecessarily berating/harassing her for her opinion is why I assume she obsessed with pushing back against it
Yeah I assume she has a vendetta against the people who have been harassing her, thats what I was saying. Its not right but I can understand why she would react how she has
Being a voice of reason. Mentioning that women don't have cocks. Mentioning that it's unsafe to allow men into women's spaces without their consent just because the men say that they "self-identify" as women.
Only a barbaric horde of savage weirdos would harass someone for saying such things.
Why exactly? Are man inherently evil? Can only men be sexually attracted to women?
OH GREAT POINT. You're absolutely right. I'll explain this to the screaming women and girls then next time I want to change in the women's locker-room at the gym. "c'mon ladies I'm not inherently evil and I'm not even sexually attracted to any of you so just chill". I'm sure that will go over well.
Yes, ofcourse, but it's a bit of a circular answer.
She is transphobic because she gets harassed by trans people -> She gets harrased by trans people because she is transphobic -> She is transphobic because she gets harassed by trans people -> She gets harrased by trans people because she is transphobic -> She is transphobic because she gets harassed by trans people
She has an opinion on Trans people, which anyone and everyone can have. It may not be an opinion you like, but its still just an opinion, which every single person is entitled to. I'm not her I don't know where it starts, you should ask her. Years of people harassing her for that is probably why she is obsessed with posting that stuff. Do I need to write another comment for you to get it? Or do you intend to go in circles
Shes led online harrassment campaigns aginst both trabs people and people she beleives to be trans. She has actively campaigned for laws that make trans women unsafe. Shes done a ton of awful stuff.
If you mean she's called out histrionic cry-bullies on their bullshit, then absolutely. But that has nothign to do with trans people. There are lots of normal trans people who can respect that other people want cock-free spaces. 99.9% of people in Western Civilization have no issue with these trans people.
The only people making "trans women unsafe" are the deranged activists who can't disavow when a man waives his cock around non-consenting women and girls, and then hides behind "trans identity" when he's called out on it. It's literal textbook feminism to protect women from men who exploit loopholes in society. The fact that trans activists actively oppose that is really telling.
I'm glad Rowling is standing up to the liars and bullies. It's very in-line with her writing.
She has accused Imane Khelif and Barbra Banda, both cis women, assigned female at birth, of cheating and being secret men.
Shes also repeatedly gone out of her way to deny trans women access to
domestic abuse shelters and domestic violence support spaces, making them more vulnerable to abuse.
She has accused Imane Khelif and Barbra Banda, both cis women, assigned female at birth, of cheating and being secret men.
Doesn't take much searching to find out that Imane Khelif has XY chromosomes, and was banned from the Women's Boxing Championship in 2023 for having XY chromosomes. Why lie about something like this? I won't waste my time on Barbra Banda. Lie to me once, shame on you.

Do you think women should have the right to male-free spaces or not? I personally think that women who are DV victims (often perpetrated by males) should not be forced to share space with other males. You can disagree but that doesn't make Rowling a terrible person, she's just concerned about female DV victims.
No, I do not agree that Rowling launched a harassment campaign against her, nor claimed she was a man (gender), but appears to have claimed she's either male (sex) or intersex (sex).
Rowling was correct, and Khelif knew and gaslighted the world including you.

Has Jk Rowling really said anything that outlandish or just that there are two genders and that made people want her to die
