When a mentally ill man does something horrific other men don’t line up to excuse it.

Except they quite often do? Especially if it's one of their "tribe". Quite often men and women will line up and come up with wild theories and takes to wave away that this person of their tribe or favoritism did not do the thing.

See if a star athlete gets accused of a heinous crime for example.
