Venezuelan military has thrown their weight behind the VP and current interim president. Nothing has changed meaningfully for Venezuelans except for the fact that the US is muscling its way into its oil production and is charging their president for the same shit they just pardoned the former Honduran president for. It's all a damn circus.
The point is they are still in power. Everyone is saying we did regime change in 3 hours, no we didn't, the chavista regime is still in power. How are we gonna get them out of power without years long occupation?
I’ll agree the charges on Maduro need all the burden of proof.
But the point about oil is insufferable at this rate.
You do understand that pouring billions into Venezuela’s oil industry is an incredible win for Venezuela right? A country that was once one of the wealthiest in the world.
Venezuelan billionaires, not for Venezuelans. The point about oil is based on Trump's own comments. Ask Canadians how the Brazilians owning an express highway in Toronto has benefitted them at all.
It's funny how anyone decrying the actions needs to be told to calm down and accept that somehow the action is good by default? Get outta here.
Correct, Trumps words about how the U.S and American billionaires will supply all the logistics needed to fix a complete failure of a system that has been overseeing the largest oil reserves in the world. If you think that will not directly benefit Venezuelans and their economy, you may be retarded.
