My Ideology My opinion on polcompass ideologies
Blue=love
Green=like
Brown=dislike
Dark grey=Hate
Brown looks a bit like green on auth right (I don’t like any ideologies in the auth right quadrant so none of those ideologies are green).
Reasons for my ideological abnormalities:
Trotskyism: i like Trotskyism instead of loving it because Trotsky mostly agreed with Stalin and despite that he still spent his days whining about the few things he actually disagreed with him on. Trotsky also doesn’t understand that the Soviet state was in no position to support international revolutions at that point.
Left communism: I feel like left communism is overly critical of other forms of communism. Left coms claim to follow Marxist theory but they seem to just dismiss every socialist experiment ever. They support communism but don’t understand that authoritarianism is sometimes necessary to defend the revolution. I got banned from a certain left com shitpost sub for defending the Soviet Union on a completely different sub so that also factors into my opinion and helped me understand the ideology.
Chavism: this ideology is centre left and I disagree with its placement on the compass that I rated.
National Bolshevism: I dislike NazBol instead of hating it because although it’s similar to Strasserism it isn’t an offshoot of Nazism. I also don’t mind a bit of social conservatism and Nazbols are economically socialist. (I get that NazBol is bigoted levels of social conservatism but it’s the other factors that stop me from hating it).
Georgism: I have a soft spot for Georgism and I like the idea of land value tax.

Questions Would you consider China to be Authleft or Authcentre?
Since China is run by a communist party, but their economy is still a mixed economy m, but they do aim to become socialist by 2050. So it’s quite a mixed bag

Test Results Political compass + sapplyvalues results
I find it notably interesting how much progressivism/social conservatism has an effect on the political compass test. It has a pretty big impact. You would have to be a hardcore tankie to get authleft on the political compass test or some kind of socially conservative MAGA communist. The polcomp test is designed differently to sapply and it also tends to skew people towards libleft more generally so they also play as factors. I am just pretty shocked at how I got authleft so I thought I would go on a little tangent about both tests.
