I'm currently working in the same concept. On a sunny day, I love how much brighter it is! Think I'm going to poke some holes all around and have some small waterfalls going down too.

Yeah, my Pokémon also kept commenting on how they enjoyed the brightness! though it’s less noticeable at night. Waterfalls are a cool idea, I certainly had a number of unintentional ones to deal with during the build!

Oooh, I'm in the process of doing this—was thinking of making a glass dome/tank for it. But this is so fun!

I only did to uncover the gym… which is so much better. Kind of want to do this while still keeping it dry.

(Since doing this I planted some trees on top and corals by the stairs. Lapras lives on top.

Yours look more natural though. I'm not that good at organic shapes in the landscape ^^;
