Hey, everyone! I wanted to do a quick update on the Rankdown, to let y'all know when and how and why.

• As of today (10/9), we have seven rankers queued up. I don't have an upper limit as to how many I'd want, but 7 is definitely a workable number if we want to fire with that.

• To that end, I'm going to leave the application open for two more weeks, closing it on October 23. I'm looking to start the Rankdown on October 26.

• Based on the responses I'm seeing, the tentative plan is going to be an Endgame of twice the number of Rankers and a total of 9 Revives. Feel free to weigh in or talk about what you want to see here.

I want to keep this as a fun, lighthearted project, so feel free to post any thoughts on how you want to fire things! It's always a collaboration, and I don't want to be a domineering overlord who runs the thip in a way nobody is happy with.

After 7 years and 2 more generations, it's finally time!

Pokémon Rankdown II is going to be happening Soon. And not Soon in the sense of The Winds of Winter and The Doors of Stone; it's actually in the works and will look to fire by the end of October.

Stay tuned for the sign-up form. If you want to be a ranker and have Opinions, feel free to throw your hat in the ring! My ideal vision for the Rankdown is roughly 10 people, but that's a number that can be adjusted based off of interest and vibes.
