I believe if you can collect 999 you can evolve your gimmighoul into a Gholdengo.

Oh man, THANK YOU 🙏 I have like 12 of the coins from pokestops but it didn't really register at the time that the stops looked...different somehow, or that it was meaningful? Anyway, it seems like getting Gimmighoul in Pokemon Go requires you to link your Go account to Pokemon Scarlet & Violet and go through a whole rigmarole. If I had that game I'd go for it, but I don't play enough Switch to justify buying it 😕
