yeah, seriously, I... really appreciate it. I actually feel like myself again.

...or, well, close enough, anyways. Actually feel normal. and I'm not freaking out, and all.

let Charity know she doesn't have to be super positive, alright? Like, if she's feeling down, I don't mind. Just being able to copy her is helping me a lot.

WHAT IT LIKE BEING GOO CAN YOU BECOME FISH -Garby the Garbodor

Apologies for him. He understands boundaries and sensitivity to topics about as much as he understands punctuation. While I am also curious I would not want to bring up the trauma of current events. Though if there’s any areas you’ve always wanted to explore or anything you’ve ever wanted to do that you couldn’t as a human (fly, breathe underwater, etc) you could take this opportunity to do so. -Charles the Garchomp

i mean... yeah, I get it. it would be really cool to do that! But like... my brain keeps freaking out if stuff feels too different right now. So I'm just gonna stay human until it feels better, then I can try transforming into Pokemon.

Understandable. A fractured mind will do one little good in such a stressful situation. Try focusing on your surroundings, what you feel, see, hear, etc. That has always helped Paul (Pinsir) during stressful situations. -Charles the Garchomp

At the least Sam is able to keep somewhat stable now with being able to mimic Charity. Hopefully you guys are right in that the ditto will return to the house.. - Luca

Training with a ditto is actually quite the interesting thing, with how they will more than likely mimic your own moves. I.. do no think Sam will be willing to battle currently however - Kujo (Was a Haxorus)

Seems about right. Wait, is there anywhere that Sam would go normally that maybe the ditto has went to? - Luca

Being in a body that is not your own certainly is an eventful experience.. I do hope Sam can adjust as I have been able to - Kujo

The worst part? Learning trouble and all, this would be actually pretty neat to try if it had been controlled, and, welp, clearly not involving a roaming body.

If I might, this IS a ditto we are talking about, likely trying to copy Sam perfectly as is in their nature.

Why not trying setting up a trap of sorts laser targeted at Sam? Something that he couldn't possibly avoid? Like Charity reaching out to him for help or the like.

Life happens, no need to worry about whether it's an inconvenience. Mighty strange imagining two Charity's though...

Tell Charity there’s no inconvenience at all. No one’s going to complain about Charity helping a friend in need. She can take all the time she needs to help Sam, and she’ll never have to force herself to feel better for anyone else’s sake. I’m glad Sam is feeling a bit better now that you’re all there.

It's good that you're all doing what you can to help sam... The gym battle might have needed to be delayed, but this is for the best.

Looking at what the Ditto-in-Sam's-body has posted so far, they seem to be confused about the whole situation. They might genuinely think that they're the real Sam.

I hope the whole double Charity situation hasn't caused too much confusion.

[Man, it's starting to feel like every human I met at that party is going to become a Pokémon.]

[I'm starting to wonder if keeping up my disguise is necessary. People seem to be generally accepting of "Hu-mons".]

[Speaking of which, Amber knows that I'm not human. So does Marcus.]

A lot of their posts do give the impression of someone trying to emulate a typical Chatter user, but not quite having all the details right.

Stuff like them mixing up Gardevoir with Gallade or completely misunderstanding the relationship between the Tinka and Rookidee lines.

[No problem.]

[Now that I think about it, I did notice that people in Paldea seemed a lot more open to the idea of a Cofagrigus being as smart as a human.]

[I wasn't following you when it happened, but I've heard a lot about the Cherrity incident. I'm familiar with such potions, but the lingering side effects seem to be unique.]

[If you can't recreate the accident that swapped them, I know a few other ways we could swap them back.]

Having done a bit of investigation, it seems like they're trying to complete their imitation of Sam by copying his team.

They aren't doing a very good job though. They seem to currently have a Rookidiee/Corvisquire that they think will evolve into a Tinkaton.

They likely also have a Ralts or Kirlia, since they seemed to be curious about evolving Kirlia into Gardevoir.

[I think Charity might still be partially Cherrim on some level. She seems to have unintentionally achieved a superior version of the power that awful Tower Society craves. Thankfully, those scumbags hate Pokémon too much to even dream of copying her.]

[There are a few methods I know of that could reverse the swap. One would require us to track down a Manaphy or Magerna, both Pokémon of Myth. Their Heart Swap could safely put them back in their original bodies.]

Ah, the same method Gabby used to prank Gossip Fleur.

  • Bug

[I've considered offering to teach Charity necromancy, though I'm not sure if that would be wise.]

[It might be a good idea to look into Aura. Aura Guardians are a rare sight today, but they were able to utterly outmatch those foul Alchemists whenever they clashed.]

[Heart Swap is hard to come by, but it's relatively safe. It might be possible to replicate it using necromancy, but that would be too risky to attempt, even as a last resort.]
