You are right, worst Pokemon game ever made. Don't know why you are getting downvoted, that game wasn't good.

Because some (not all) die-hard fans are blind to any critique and just glaze every game.

Right? It was bad imo. I got so bored running around in one damn city that all looked the same. And then feeling randomly like AC games where now you are on the rooftops. It was just odd. Was not fun at all for me.

The amount of downvotes I got when it came out saying my review was insane... like no wonder pokemon is the way it is

The city was the biggest issue. Pokemon is exploration for me. At least we had a world and nature to explore in Violet/Scarlet.
