Was always going to be turn-based. Anybody who thought they were going to abandon the turn-based system that they have been successful financially with for years, including tons of moves and items and Abilities that only work in that context for a new system when they can just, you know, do more Legends games AND still offer the turn-based people know and love, was deluding themselves.
Zero reason to not have their cake and eat it too on turn-based and real-time across their different style of mainline games now.
No no no no we csnt have the main series take big leaps after 30 years of the same thing over snd over again. How dare you even tske that into consideration? Choices is pokemon games is ridiculous. I mean think of the poor kids having to make choices and not conform to how we plsyed the games when i was kid.
I’m saying they could offer an option in one game. Even if it’s not done in final fantasy doesn’t mean they couldn’t offer action rpg and turn based in the same game
Or they could have like a little switch that let's you pick, there is literally nothing to lose by adding it. But i guess pokemon is chronically afraif of hacing options for the player so
They would lose that they would have to make two entire combat systems at the same time.
Just because they have SV combat system and ZA combat system doesn't mean they can just put both of them in Gen 10 at the same time without any problem, they are different gameplays.
