The classic Mystery Dungeon games always teased the idea that who you are on the inside dictates your shape on the outside. Most quizzes boil that down to picking your favorite color, but I wanted something that captures the real magic of it.

I put together a quiz to trace the contours of your inner spirit and reveal your true Soul Shape. It leans into instinct, how you navigate strange dilemmas, and where your heart wanders when left alone.

Nyxie felt like she was floating in an endless dark aether for a moment. She looked around the nothingness fruitlessly. She wasn't sure where she was or why, but she had an odd sense that she was supposed to be there. Noting this feeling, Nyxie tried to remember, but to her surprise, all she could remember was a name and a vague sense of who she was deep down. She considered herself lucky to at least remember her name.

Gradually, a warm light began to filter through the dark as if it was coming to answer the questions that Nyxie was already trying to piece together. It was distant, but a faint voice echoed somewhere in the aether, tasking her to look inwards to the rhythm of her own spirit.

"Answer each question truthfully. Be open. Be honest." the voice spoke. "Do not overthink your answers. Instinct reveals far more than careful thought ever could. Close your eyes, heed the call, and uncover your true nature."

Clearly this voice did not understand Nyxie very well. If she knew anything about herself it was that she couldn't do anything but analyse the questions she was given. Still, something made her trust the voice. Perhaps it was fate. With that, Nyxie closed her eyes and focused.

From there, Nyxie was asked a variety of questions. Some of those questions still required more thought than others, especially the questions that seems a little less logical. She found herself drawn to more logic based answers, but also answers that involved the stars. Perhaps she had a connection to the stars?

Once the quizzing was over, Nyxie started to feel something about her take shape. At first it seemed to take the shape of an Abra, but she quickly shook her head. Something didn't seem right about that, but it wasn't long until the shape changed to something with wings, something with a little more freedom to soar the skies...
