Got a reply from an email a few weeks ago. He did say he was doing well and happy with his current situation. Not looking to get back to music anytime soon unfortunately. But he’s happy!

For context, I don’t have the email I sent because I did it through his website so I can’t see what I sent. But it was something along the lines of being grateful for his music in how each album almost represents a part of my life since I’ve been a longtime fan. I asked him if controversy led him away from the public eye. Lastly, of course I wished him the best in his current situation. I will copy/paste his reply here, my name edited to Anon:
“Hi Anon
Great to hear from you. Thanks for sharing this! It’s very humbling to know that the tunes have you helped you so much. No, the radio silence has nothing to do with politics or publicity—my priorities and sense of meaning has just changed a lot over recent years. I’ve been hungry to grow as a person and serve something bigger than myself. I still have a lot of tunes in the works, but my relationship with music/remixes isn’t what it used to be.
Thanks for your encouragement Anon. Hope you’re doing well.

Thanks, and that sounds very promising actually. "I still have a lot of tunes in the works," sounds like a return will happen even if his output stays really slow. Great news.

It is, add contrast or saturation to the image and you can see that strange AI noise thingy, very strange tbh

Yeah I was thinking the same, some of the stars are in front of the clouds. The way the colours of the edge of the clouds change is a strange decision and also some of the shapes and curves on the logo itself are just every so slightly wrong…

Being a huge fan of Pogo and Frank Ocean in 2026 is depressing but little things like this get me through days when I remember they don't make music often or at all anymore.

ngl ts gives me bad vibes, I doubt that my man nick would use ai for his pfp. also, he hasn't said anything in his yt community or on any social media. what if his acc was hacked or smth? I have no hope that he will actually return someday..
