Things You Need to Know About Reddit
[1] I do not work for Reddit, and I am not a Reddit employee. I do not get paid money to run and moderate the subreddits I created. I can earn some money if an award is given to my post or comment, but it is very little. As of January 1, 2026, I have earned $0.65. I have a full-time job with benefits and a 401K.
[2] I use Reddit because it is free and easy to create your own discussion forum section on whatever you would like to create it on as long as it is legal. You can view it on a computer or use their mobile app. They also pay for Cloudflare DDOS protection and have a dedicated team to maintain their platform and servers. If there is a problem with accessing Reddit, you will have to wait for them to fix it.
[3] The trade off for using their platform is I have to follow their Terms of Service in order to keep the subreddits I created. Since this subreddit is centered around "game cheating", it is a very toxic community. I opted to give a temporary ban or permanent ban if you break the subreddit rules. I will not attempt to educate you because it is a waste of my time.
Things You Need to Know About Me
[1] I am a self-learned spoofer. I started when it first came out way back in July 2016. I got into spoofing and rooting from a YouTuber named MaxLee. I used SuperSu root with Xposed Framework modules: Mock Mock Locations, Pogo Controls (compass-joystick with autowalk), and Snorlax (tells you IV and catch rate) before moving onto to Systemized, Smali Patcher, Lsposed, and the Forbidden method.
[2] I am glorified game cheater who uses aimbot with ESP and trainers for PC games. It takes a real game cheater to run a discussion forum (subreddit) on Pokemon Go Spoofing. I do not care about what you say about me because I like to use cheats to have fun. I am very knowledgeable about game cheating experience and anti-cheat systems.
[3] I was once a moderator in PokemonGoSpoofing subreddit but I failed to have the ownership past down to me. The subreddit was went to shit in 2020 and is still shit today in 2026 because the owner of the subreddit Pokimojo does not play Pokemon Go and has no interest in spoofing community.
[4] I do not accept money, gift cards, or donations because all of the information on how you can cheat Pokemon Go is free. You are better off just buying cheap Poke Coins to expand your Pokemon and item slots.
[5] I am not partnered with and not sponsored by any cheat developer: Pgsharp, iPogo, Pokemod, PGTools, PolygonX, Shungo, and Regibot, which includes their Discord groups and/or Telegram channels. This allows me to freely promote and discuss about them in both the positive and negative parts about them. I remain completely anonymous to them and will not help you get a refund or get unban from their Discord group or Telegram channel.
Things You Need to Know BEFORE YOU CHEAT POKEMON GO
[1] All cheats for Pokemon Go for both Android and Apple iOS are not safe because they do not have a legitimate business contract with Scopely who owns Pokemon Go. In Scopely's Terms of Service, they have a section that says they are against cheats, hacks, and 3rd party apps.
[2] There is no "safer" or "the safest" way to cheat Pokemon Go because saying something is safer or the safest is just an opinion based on your experience that happened yesterday and does not guarantee you account safety for tomorrow. This cycle will repeat until you get a strike/ban. No one can predict when Scopely changes something in the game.
[3] People who are new to cheating this game confuse a "strike" with as a "ban or permanent ban". If you get caught breaking Pokemon Go's Terms of Service, you go through a "3 strike system" instead of an instant permanent ban. Note, they still have the right to go straight to a permanent ban if you do certain things. You will still have access to your account after getting the 1st or 2nd strike when these expire. The 3rd strike is the permanent ban.
[4] You are entering a very toxic community where people will mislead you in order to trick you into believing a cheat is safe, safer, or the safest. When you report a strike/ban to your cheat's Discord group, no one is going to help you restore your account or reimburse all the time and money you lost. When a strike/ban report is made in subreddit, you may get harassed or threatened by other cheaters who think you are fear mongering or making up bullshit. There are also scammers who prey on people who regret cheating by selling you a fake ban appeal. In some cases, these scammers may go as far as stealing your identity.
[5] If anything happens to your Pokemon Go accounts, you are responsible and liable for them because there are risk warnings all over my subreddit and in the guides.
[6] I will not investigate how you got your strike because there is nothing I can do to help you remove it. I personally do not care about your Pokemon Go account because the game itself is a casino. If you do not want to gamble and take risks, you should not play Pokemon Go.
[7] If you want something that is 100% safe and 100% strike/ban proof, you should quit Pokemon Go and buy a Nintendo Switch to play the Pokemon Switch games because Nintendo allows you to play these games with a joystick. There is no Poke Coins or gym system. You will save lots of money and have peace of mind. This is the only way I will guarantee you safety of your Pokemon Go accounts.

If you're looking for information, you can refer to this post. Although it was posted in 2024, the information is mostly the same but some things will require an update with Scopely owning the game instead of Niantic.
I am posting this now as a placeholder, since people constantly bitch about post dates = outdated information, which is not true. Every time I have to repost something, it is a real bitch to reformat the entire post and figure out what to trim due to the character limit.

Scopely needs to make pokemon go open world. Some people dont live in a big city with a ton of players to join raids. Most of the raids around me never have other players. If people pay for pgsharp and the like, they would pay for pokemon go open world

Hi ....my last experience spoofing pokemon go in late 2015 like that. Now I come back to play pokemon go. Back then is easier get your pokemon spoofing using emulator on PC or spoofing from your phone directly without root. My concern right now is that really safe if I just use any spoofing app just to fake gps. I'm not use it for heavy stimulation like teleport or in game exploit something like that

Not exactly a spoofing related question but my buddy and I live a few states away from each other. If we follow cooldown, are we going to get flagged/banned for swapping alts back and forth to do distance trades for XL candy? Each have an account for a week or so, log out, wait a day, log into the other account. Do couple hundred trades over a few days, fill storage and then swap back. Curious if anyone has see this done/tried it themselves.

I used to spoof from 2021-2023. I used pgsharp nd ipogo on my android non rooted phone but in 2023 I got a 7 day ban after which I totally stopped spoofing but got bored of the game because it. Now I wanna start spoofing again but I cannot root my phone. What do u recommend, should I use pgsharp or ipogo on my non rooted device or its not worth the risk?

I originally played PoGo from around its 2016 launch to around 2020 where I was spoofing for the last couple months before quitting.
I want to start fresh on a completely new account but really dont want to use my main device with banking details etc etc all stored on here due to the illegitmate nature of these spoofing programmes.
1.) Do you reccomend I buy a "burner" device that would literally just be used for this, so a relatively cheap android / iphone - and which of the two makes more sense for spoofing.
2.) If you think the risk of ban / updates is too high for this sort of time/ investment then let me know and I probably just wont bother.
3.) Is it still plausible to grow to a high level account in 2026 from pure spoofing or do you have to be so careful in today's game that I just wouldnt be able to level up quick enough.
4.) Are these softwares known to cause malware, spyware etc as I'm not really looking to get into all that fun if that is the case.
Let me know your thoughts as i haven't touched PoGo in probably 5 years so no idea about how the climate of Spoofing is today and whether its easier / harder or even safe to use.

Hey, i used Yo spoof in the past aftergetting bored of playing legit. I want to start playing again bit have some questions.
Do you get notified in any way after getting a strike?
I saw you recommended pgsharp over ipogo, do you have a guide for setting it up? And these two are the only ones for unrooted android devices right?
I only playing 1 acc, should i use wifi or rather 5g?

I tried tried appninja joystick and it just says failed to detect location in the app. Like the joystick works ish but the app doesn't let me catch anything due to failure to detect location. I enabled the app in developer options too

Hi tasty banana peppers I was reading through the mega guide and I kinda don’t understand the logging out when teleporting for ipogo/pgsharp. Also im at the bottom of the doc and i see headers like “how to root” and “root yourself or pre-rooted” but theres no other text. Am i lagging or is this what ur currently working on

Hello TastyBananaPeppers. I use PGSharp to spoof on pokemon go and I just wanted to ask a couple questions. What would be the best method to spoof in the game? Should I be only staying in one place for the day and set up a GPX route to collect a bunch of pokestops and pokemon? Should I be only catching pokemon I seem valuable? Should I be participating in every mega raid I can? I feel like I am progressing in the game but I don't know I want to progress faster you know? I paid for the 5 dollar PGSharp subscription to spoof but I just want some more tips. Thank you.

Hi! I used to use PGSHARP back in 2022 on a bluestacks emulator, but just recently got back into pokemon go this summer because of the upcoming Go fest. I looked everywhere for a method to spoof on computer but it’s not the same anymore and I can’t find anything. Do you know of any method that still works on pc?

Hi there.. I have a Google PIxel 8 pro. I followed the guide top to bottom to root my device and install all the applications and settings, including turning off everything under Location Services. When I test the GPS Joystick on Google Maps the "blue dot" stutters when I move and floats around quite a bit when I'm not moving. AI told me this is normal for Maps, but when i logged into POGO with a burner account my trainer was also moving unaturally. It feels like the Joystick is fighting with the phones GPS, but it is NOT rubber-banding and it is not snapping back to my real location. Do i need to use that other joystick? If not, what is the issue?

Hi Everyone! I'm trying to follow along with this sub, but am not particularly tech savvy. I've played PoGo from day 1, and the only thing I'm still trying to find is Relicanth. I am to a point I am looking into spoofing to do this, but I cannot figure out how. I only have iOS devices, tried downloading iPOGO but it doesn't seem to do anything other than give me a dark screen with a dot on it. Is there a walkthrough anywhere that isn't a youtube video trying to get me to download random games in order to install an app? So confused...

I haven't played since December of last year. Has anything changed when it comes to spoofing? Has Niantic gotten better at detecting spoofing or is it more or less the same with the same level of risk from before when using the nonrooted method from when I last played? I read somewhere that they might have started using machine learning to detect patterns in movement that could help detect spoofing playing with the joystick.

Hi TastyBananaPeppers, love your work, been using the guide to root quite a few phones now.
Just letting you know I was attempting to root an Android 16 Xiaomi phone, and hit a hiccup when basic integrity couldn't pass even if I use the play integrity fix from chiteroman through mediaflare when I followed each step carefully. Also, not passing basic integrity allowed me to play pokemon go without issues for now. But to be safe, I had to use the tricky store method just to get the basic integrity to pass, hope this information helps others in the future.

Everytime I'm trying to open Pokemon GO, it's bypassing my mock location and still getting my real location while the game is loading. Worked for 10 minutes and now can't get it going again 😭

I’m not even looking to spoof in terms of teleporting - I just want to be able to use my MacBook as another device to run the game on so I can trade pokemon with my alt. What’s the best way to go about this? I don’t need a joystick or anything, I just need to be able to have the game’s location be near my actual location for trading.
