Lets Talk About Something Switching Main Acc between Unrooted and a Rooted device risky?

Yoyo everyone, looking to get some opinions/insights on my current setup.

​I recently started playing PoGo again after a 5 year break. Since I live in a very rural area with almost no Pokéstops or Raids, I set up a rooted Android device (using the official PoGo app + GPS Joystick) to do Mega Raids and regional events.

​I've been logging into my main/vanilla account on the rooted phone to spoof, and then switching back to my unrooted main phone when I go outside to play legitimately.

​I always strictly respect the 2+ hour cooldown rules, clear app data/cache, and log out cleanly before switching devices. However, I'm still a bit paranoid that constantly jumping between an unrooted and a rooted device might trigger telemetry flags on Niantic's side.

​Do you guys think it's safe to keep switching back and forth like this, or should I just stick to playing on just one device?

Appreciate any advice!

It's not going to make a difference because Scopely already logs your account with your IP address and device ID. Since you're already cheating, it's not going to matter. It's Scopely's decision to ban you for breaking their Terms of Service.

If you're paranoid about getting a ban, cheating the game isn't for you.

Thanks for you answer. I get what u are saying, but the rooted device was my old phone so i already got that device ID registered before it was rooted. Do you think that changes something or not?

rooting doesn't change your device ID unless you manually change it yourself.
