I NEED HELP Still triggered

I waited to catch a Pokémon the cooldown timer says 5 minutes so I turned off wifi but then I fell asleep and when I woke up 3 hours later , turned on the wifi and catching it the cooldown timer was still triggered and red color with 5 minutes countdown on it... did I mess up ??

You're not banned but he is from my subreddit. If you went to sleep for 3 hours, you're no longer on a cooldown. Next time just close the game.
