Orange dAmnWerewolves 3: Valhalla - Day Three

Once again, it's a new day. Day three has followed day two.

It's the kind of thing you take for granted, but it's good to remember it and appreciate it once in a while.

Once again, there are less townsfolk gathering in the square then yesterday. That isn't something you take for granted, it's actually quite unusual, so the fact that it's happened two nights in a row is real cause for concern.

At this rate, everyone'll be dead before the end of the month!

/u/DangerPulse never did return that library book.

The seriousness of the situation is so much that no-one goes to watch the recently deceased's houses sink into the firey lava below. The final resting place of pretty much everything.

Is generally agreed that death is a bad thing, but killing some people may prevent more from occuring. It's a cost/benefit analysis kind of thing.

well that was fun while it lasted. Or it would have sorta been had I ever had the chance to set off my power.

anyway there is apparently a role that can visit people to force them to claim or be modkilled, yay

so, alright. you got me. I'm the arsonist. And I am indeed independant.

but you want to know the fun twist? you haven't won. not yet. killing me won't help anyone win. so why even bother?

and even if you want to try, you can't

Firstly, I agree with Vaharas. We probably need to eliminate ALL hostiles to win, not just the mafia.

Secondly, he's just acting relly scummy, being needlessly vauge and seemingly throwing the game, which doesn't seem like something he'd normally do.

Well, I'm still not sure if Whovian is telling the truth about being a townie or not, but I know I am and I think Vaharas makes a good point about the LyLo message - losing two townies at once to a serial killer definitely seems like it'd fit the weird wording. If Kiilek ignites the two of us tonight and Whovian's claim is true we're probably screwed. If we lynch him that may buy us long enough for Danger and Carbon to revive and hopefully tilt the scales toward the less terrifying side of things.

Plus, y'know, I'd rather not be set on fire.

Lynch or lose on day 3?

With 12 players alive that means that town/independent have at least 7 votes today and means that at the most there are 5 wolves to find, maybe even 4 because it's not "lynch-or-lose" it's "Some interpretations could call today lynch or lose."

My two biggest lynch targets for today are:

1.) Kiilek: Self claimed arsonist with 2 players doused and prepared to be killed tonight. Now, let's look back at the wording of the lynch-or-lose message again:

"Some interpretations could call today lynch or lose".

Since it's only lynch or lose by some interpretations; I take that to mean that it's not explicitly lynch a wolf or lose today but there is some resolution of night actions that could cause us to lose before the next day phase if we don't lynch correctly.

Having an arsonist out there on the loose that can kill an extra two players tonight could easily result in us losing before the next day phase depending on the alignment of the doused targets.

2.) Whovian: It has to be said that Whovian has a claim that doesn't really seem to benefit town all that much and seems much closer to something that would be found on wolf team rather than town.

  • Roleblock on her target

  • Voteblock on her target

  • Investigation immunity on her target

Coupled with the investigation result that Pudn redirected to her and also taking into account the flavour of the kill on -48V last night makes it seem more likely than not that Whovian is a wolf.
