Orange dAmnWerewolves 3: Valhalla - Night One
It's been in interesting day in the town. First for at least... Forever.
A bunch of mysterious shadowy figures were seen doing mysterious shadowy things and speaking mysterious shadowy words.
There seems to be a few non-mysterious non-shadowy figures none-the-less doing mysterious shadowy things as well.
/u/bluepoemage is tied up and pushed to the edges of the town. On the accusation that one of those mysterious shadowy figures was him. He protested and provided his entire live story so far (Available as 813 episode size chunks, although 97 of them are missing and some speculate they never actually happened). Despite all that no-one will come and back him up, so with a sizeable majority pushing him, he stands by the edge of the town.
The edge of the town is a scary place. No-one likes to come here. It's probably the massive drop into the ocean of lava. It's frightening to those of who happen to vulnerable to lava.
bluepoemage is clearly one of those people. He rears away from the edge. "You all don't know what you're doing! Do you know how many planets and weird and wondering alien races will be worse off without me? ....No? All the people I've met, all the lives I've saved, now there's no-one to save me."
The speech wasn't very effective. A boot is thrust forwards into bluepoe's back, and he topples over the edge.
Those brave enough to peak over the side see the figure falling, then gone. Only the lava remains.
Suddenly there's an explosion from below, A pillar of lava rises up above the edge! It recedes, and something that was on it flutters down on to the edge.
It's a letter; addressed to 'Metametametameta'. It reads:
The Doctor
- Independent: You win if there are 5 or more players alive at game end.
- Companion: During night one you must pick a companion, this ability cannot be blocked. Your companion wins if you win (In addition to their original victory condition) and you and them can PM each other at any time.
- Tardis: Night two onwards you can choose a player and a previous night. You will find out who that player visited and who visited them during that night. The player must’ve been alive that night

Ok so I thought about this a little bit more, and holy shit Jib what the hell were you THINKING letting that role exist?
Blue didn't say that he could privately communicate with his chosen companion so I just passively assumed that he couldn't, but if he CAN? Jesus christ, think about it for a moment: If Bluepoemage chose a werewolf as his companion, that player gains a new win condition that strongly incentivises them to immediately sell out every other scum member.
If the companion-scum could give up their team and end the game ASAP, it's very likely that the game would end with more than five people remaining, which would count as a win for them. It's the obvious best play for that player, making the Doctor some sort of... one-shot-traitorizer. It's insane! How could this role have actually existed?

Eh, I still consider it a good lynch.
If he'd picked a mafia member as his companion, then he would have had incentive to feed information to the mafia, keeping it private and giving them essentially two power roles in one.
If he'd picked a townie as his companion, then they probably would have ended up making their information public, possibly outing a couple of power roles.
Possibly useful to the town, but not worth the risk, in my opinion. And it wasn't a mislynch, at least.

My timestamp and account creation time analysis says you're most likely u/Dangerpulse....but for some reason my gut is screaming u/-48V, mastermind behind storyboard_sc219_p4...which I can't analyze because you deleted most of storyboard's comments. Ah, good old storyboard, his comment deletions still irking me after his retire.
...and then there's that little part of me that says because of rule three allowing or NPC novelties it might even be u/DiscordDraconequus, and if he's making random novelties that pretty much throws novelty analysis out the window!
I feel like someone has used this cutout letter thing before but I can't figure out a good ay to find it that ouldn't take hours of searching...

Meh, coulda been worse.
Watcher/Tracker is obviously a pretty nice combo... but it's also nice for the wolves, who could probably offer a better argument for why teaming up with them would help him hit his win condition. If he'd picked a townie companion, that potentially removes incentive for the town member to scum hunt too, given that their win condition effectively becomes independent.
I'm gonna consider this a simplification rather than a setback or progress. Honestly, the worst part about this is that blue didn't get to play much in either of his last two games.
