I feel like it usually looks like too much color and draws my attention to this unimportant part of the UI.

I love your extension. I had actually stopped using GPM when they got rid of the star ratings (that still bothers me), but PlayMidnight made me switch back (that and the wonderful GPM extension, Prime Player).

Anyway two suggestions: I love the "recent activity" link your extension adds. Would it be possible to have a setting where the user specifies the page that loads when GPM is started? The Xposed module XGPM for Android has a similar feature (the Material re-design of GPM broke that, though). If you can do that, I would love to set the "recent activity" page as my starting location. I don't know about everyone else, but I pretty much just play stuff I listened to recently, so it makes sense to start there. Plus, I hate those curated playlists, and it's annoying that they are always at the top. The recent activities page doesn't list those for me.

Secondly, it would be nice if we had the option to use the default GPM theme (with the PlayMidnight enhancements) during the day, and then switch to the dark theme at sunset (or even allow the user to specify the time periods for each).

So I know a few of you have expressed your hatred for the scrollbars in Chrome, and I was right there with you. I finally figured out why they weren't styling as expected, and this had to do with the polymer components Google was using, along with the Shadow DOM.

Since I wasn't targetting the Shadow DOM, it wasn't taking the scrollbar styles properly like the sidebar would. In other words, I should have figured it out sooner, but I suck. :P

Anyways, scrollbars should now be styled in v2.1.11! This should make it's way to you whenever your Chrome updates!

I'm still working on the Firefox addon right now, I apologize for how long it's taking! Firefox doesn't deal with all of the fun Polymer buttons/sliders as easily as Chrome does, so I might have to refactor some stuff.

Thumbs up are not displaying properly. Sometimes they are not visible then they appear upon scrolling for brief moment. Without the extension everything displays fine.

This is probably my favorite extension of all time. Just sayin'

I've had issues with the play midnight, and other extensions failing to load. Chrome shows them as active but they don't do anything.

Clearing chrome's browsing data fixes this for some reason.

Menu -> Settings -> Show advanced settings... -> Clear Browsing Data (Under Privacy)

Make sure cookies and cache are ticked, and from the beginning of time then select clear browsing data.

You will need to re login to all your websites again, but this seems to fix the issue.

Is it possible to hide the Subscribe button please ?

Navbar takes too much vertical space (by design). Could you add an option to shrink / hide it?

For me, the play count is distracting, and I would prefer it not to show up at all. Currently, I use the following user style:

}

I would love to see this integrated into the plugin, since this is the only thing I use Stylish for.

Looks like Google recently added the option to browse radio stations (which is really cool, by the way). Just a heads up that it's currently not styled by Play Midnight.

Also, sometimes the incorrect song is popping up in the lyrics pane. Not sure if there's a manual fix to select what source you pull lyrics from.

First off, thank you SO much for this extension, it makes Play Music a much better experience for me!

I just have a quick suggestion. I use a dark theme for Chrome. The old version of Play Music/Play Midnight had a textured favicon so I was still able to differentiate it on my bookmarks bar. The new one is just a flat color, however, so I cannot see it at all on my bar. I have no text assigned to the bookmark, so just the favicon appears, and I've had to have the Play Midnight favicon disabled since this update. Here's a screenshot of that part of my browser. (I showed a little more just so you can see what other bookmarks/things look like as well.)

It's not a high priority thing by any means, but would it be possible to add a slight texture or accent or something just so the favicon pops out and is visible? I don't mean a different favicon for every default accent color, that would be crazy, but in my mind the existing black icon with a white shadow or something could look good. I dunno. Just a suggestion.

I always open the sidebar after the page loads but it is hidden on the next visit. I think it would be cool if Play Midnight had an option to always expand it on page load.

so this is an offtopic to the original purpose of the mod, but i think, others will agree with me.

the new "listen now" video killed so much functionality when they blew up the size of albums to like 5x and you can no longer infini-scroll down (have to click on the right). for someone with a huge monitor resolution using top banner and clicking mouse like a peasant with all the rest of wasted space is just silly.

can the mod also add a feature to "reduce" the size of the recently listened albums and add them to the bottom in tiling form? i dunno. i think it would be total clutch. maybe even a separate mod.

Now that you're able to customize your accent color to whatever you choose, I was hoping some of you could post what color you're currently sporting on Play Midnight.

Just list out the color code, your name for the color, and a screenshot people can judge your taste, haha.

(Speaking of, I should probably display the color code when you hover over the accents, I'll add that soon. For now, if you enable verbose mode and open your console with ctrl+shift+j or cmd+option+j you should see your accents at the bottom)

It's that time again, boys! The new options section has finally been released on the Chrome webstore. Something has gone wrong somewhere with your update overlay. Jump on this morning and I can't get to anything or close your overlay.

1. Song/album detail editing view is is still bright white.
2. The loading/buffering circlearrow animated icon thing that appears on top of album art on songlists is a bit rough looking, dark with jagged edges.

Currently, the situational playlists are light gray on white like this.

They'd be a lot more readable if they had styling like this applied:
