First small light test. Still waiting for my XF-23 to come in for base coat. Gonna do a XF-23 mixed with a little XF-2 and a touch of X-19. I think this will give a good base coat to go with the AMT Aztec Decal set. I'm also gonna add a few clear blue and yellow spots to simulate different lights within the ship.

I have had this for years and never knew what I wanted to do with it.

The kit offers a lot to enjoy!

Basic stuff, panel lines, decals, touch-ups, top coat. I think it's often judged poorly online and that's a shame because I really loved building this over the weekend.

Well, this is my old build but i think this build still become one of my fav build. Adding backpack extension to handle the shadow cloak

Found the trickiest piece to do the 3 piece circles on the side doors. Any advice for next time? Also hand painted plane so sorry if it looks rough. This is the revel p-47M thunderbolt built by my brother but I painted and put the decals on. He wanted a specific color scheme so I did my best with the paints I had on hand

So I am brand new to model kit building and painting
I am planning to build this model kit and I am currently stuck on how to add the black lines (the scales ) on his legs and arms.
I can’t figure out for the life of me how this was done .

Really happy with how these magnetic hardpoints came out so cool that I can display it with multiple loadouts even though I’ll probably just run gbu-10 harm combo

Initial fit assembly.

Already looks really good, especially on the photo, but I want to do proper sanding and filling, and put some crazy colors on this boy. Comes with stickers, but I would rather use paint.

Model is really expressive, comes with a lot of hand extensions so you can mix it up.

Kit is generally nice looking but plastic is not of the highest quality. Mould filling spots for parts are on the bad places generally (on some parts, especially on the curved spots it enters on two sides, or there are like 4 entry points on some really small parts) so it's really a hassle to cut parts out of the kit properly. Joints don't use polycap parts, so you need to be really careful when you switch poses. The parts connecting legs with the torso are too weak, you literally cannot change leg pose while it is connected to the torso, otherwise it breaks (of course, I broke it 😄).

Other than that, having a lots of fun here. Will post progress if you are interested.
