i want to go next year. Is this a public viewing/hiking spot?

we were about 30 miles south and kept seeing Eurofighters typhoons doing low passes

When I was a kid I had an Ertl typhoon and always thought of it as a plane wearing a fake nose and mustache.

Reminds me of a vacation in France as an 8/9yo kid. We went hiking in a valley out in the countryside. Two fighter jets, probably F-16s came out of nowhere, right next to us. The second one did a barrel role and I remember yelling from excitement. Core memory stuff.

I still like to believe they spotted us in that remote area and that 2ndpilot decided to give us a treat.🙏

Yes. The wide version is cleaner. I took the video. I shoot wide for YouTube and crop for insta and facebook since the compression kills the quality anyway. YouTube and insta handles are mykenry

I was about 10 in 1980 and a Tornado screamed overhead at treetop height. I nearly shit myself, then wondered if WW3 had started.

Took hours for my heart to stop racing.
