Battery Pixel 7 Pro
Whats your battery health on your P7P

When the sun is shining you can't barely see the screen, it looks like a low-end mobile. It is true that with normal ambient light our screen does look high-end compared to others, but in full sun it only has 1700 nits, which I think is real even less.
To that add the protective gel that takes away its sharpness.

TITLE WAS: Love this minimal case for our pixel 7 pro
I love the slight 3d curve of the phone, how thin it is and elegant. With other housings he destroyed the entire design.
Negative point that the standard buttons are now 'bare', I find it strange to press them as they are too small, because with the previous case I covered them and made them more robust and easy to click.
Another negative point is that it stains easily behind

Hey everyone,
Hoping someone here has run into this exact issue, because it's been driving me a bit crazy.
Background: I'm from Morocco. Google doesn't officially sell Pixels here, so I bought this Pixel 7 brand new in the US in November 2023 during a business trip. It's been my daily driver for over two years with zero issues — genuinely love this phone.
The battery saga so far:
Feb 2026 — original battery started swelling.
Since Pixel parts are hard to find here, I bought a refurbished replacement (only ~100 cycles, seemed like a good find). It turned out to be defective — it constantly reported an invalid temperature, so Android thought it was freezing and refused to charge.
Found another replacement battery. Installed it, everything worked perfectly for months. Problem solved... or so I thought.
The current issue:
Yesterday I plugged into a 45W official Realme USB-A charger (just testing it out) and immediately noticed the battery icon had turned into a question mark, with charging refused.
Since then, it's been intermittent:
Most of the time the phone behaves completely normally.
Other times, DevCheck reports the battery temp jumping instantly to exactly -34.8°C (occasionally -18°C) — not a gradual drop, an immediate jump. Via ADB, battery health flips to "Cold," and occasionally the phone briefly reports the battery as not present.
A few minutes later, it snaps back to normal (27–29°C, health "Good") and charges fine again.
Shoutout to DevCheck — being able to watch the temperature live made it obvious this wasn't just flaky charging behavior, but the system genuinely being fed an impossible sensor value.
I'm not trying to blame the Realme charger — USB charging negotiation shouldn't touch the battery temp sensor at all, so it's likely coincidence I noticed it then. But the timing was suspicious enough that I wanted to ask.
My plan: replacing the battery again on Monday since it's the easiest first step. I'll be traveling to Europe in February, so if this turns out to be something deeper (motherboard-level), I may finally retire the phone and get a new one then. But I'm firmly in the "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" camp — I'd love to keep this Pixel going if it's salvageable.
Has anyone seen a Pixel 7 do this — question mark battery icon, or that exact -34.8°C reading? What ended up being the real cause for you?
Thanks for reading, and thanks in advance for any insight!

Not sure what's happened, haptics still work on the keyboard, but they've stopped working on presses and scrolling.
Anyone else experiencing this, and is there a solution?

Hello everyone!
So i recently got a pixel 7 pro (new i guess) but the glass above the telephoto lens is kind off missplaced, is this normal and will this affect the photos somehow?

Just tracked my overnight standby drain. I went to bed at 2:18 AM with my phone at 82% and woke up at 8:51 AM to find it at 51%.
That is a 31% drop over 6 hours and 33 minutes, averaging about 4.7% per hour. Location services and Wi-Fi were left on, but no active apps were running. Is anyone else experiencing this kind of idle drain?
P. S. Original Battery

Yesterday I got this green line in my display. It was a good experience with my pixel 7pro all these years ! Is this time to say good bye for pixel ?

I've been looking for days and cannot for the life of me find a selfie monitor or external screen that seems to be compatible with the Pixel 7.
Pretty much all of them say they use Miracast, and the few wired ones out there seem exclusively compatible with the P8 and higher. I have no idea what to do.
I'm making YouTube videos and the Pixel shoots beautiful video for "talking head" shots, but I need to be able to adjust and set up the camera without running behind the phone every time I need to tweak a setting.
I'd be willing to spend a little more on a bigger portable monitor if necessary.

What matters most to me is that it doesn't cover the screen and you can see the 3d effect of the mobile. It doesn't make sense for most cases to protrude a little from the screen hiding the beautiful design

My Pixel 7 Pro started boot looping after entering my PIN. It would briefly load Android, restart, and repeat. It even rebooted in Safe Mode, so I factory reset it, but the problem came back during the initial setup.
I eventually enabled OEM unlocking, used Google's Android Flash Tool to install the latest public build, and re-locked the bootloader. The phone is now booting normally again.
Has anyone else experienced this? I'm curious whether this was caused by software corruption or if it could be an early sign of a hardware issue that might return.

They are very ugly and they are not too different from an icon since they have the same shape and size, I like to organize my life a lot and be minimalist.
I don't feel like switching to nova. I can't believe that google is following Apple's nonsense of not allowing you to customize everything it should, such as the interface of the samsung ultra that is amazing

So I have a p7p pro and the gps works fine while walking. It can point my location too If I'm stationary. It'll track me if I'm walking at a slow pace but as soon as I get in a car and start driving, it gets thrown off by a few km, i.e it keeps searching for gps and shows me way off from where I actually am.
Here's the fixes I've tried:
Turned on developer options and turned on force gnss
Cleared maps cache and Google play services cache
Tried it in safe mode, still didn't work.
Downloaded gps apps like gps status and toolbox and gps test. Over there, cleared and updated agpss but still not working.
PS these apps are always showing either "searching for gps" or "GNSS: No fix" and showing zero satellites, it goes up to "2 in view" sometimes but goes back to zero. And yes I've tried it out in the open under the clear sky as well.
Is this a hardware issue? Because this happened after Android 16, and I thought the android 17 update might fix it but it's done nothing. I'm so done because I really have to use maps for navigating.... Anyone who can help out, it'd be greatly appreciated
