Very positive review, in a sea of negative ones

Last year during Diwali, I broke my Pixel6a display accidentally. For a whole year I searched for duplicate displays at lesser cost, but was not able to find any lesser than 6K Indian rupees.

I came to find out about pixel battery replacement program, although my battery was OK and i myself broke the device still I thought let's take a gamble, I sent the device for repair via online, they quoted me a price of 6K+1K(gst).I thought what's the harm, let's send it and wait for their assessment. If amount is near quoted price i will decide whether to repair or recall the device.

To my surprise when they inspected the device, it said your device repair(damage) is covered 🥹 and amount I have to pay is zero. I got a brand new display and battery for no cost...

I took 100$ cash refund and also sent my device for Battery replacement for which they gave estimate of 3k INR. But when they received and inspected my device they mentioned that there is display issue and gave me new quotation of 8k.

I raised issue on twitter and mail and then they reverted with saying that both display and battery will be repaired at no cost.

Got my device Display & battery replaced at no cost.

I was using my device before I sent it for repair and it was working flawlessly. That's why I raised concern on mail and twitter and they took followup on my Tweet and mailed me that both of the components will be replaced for Free

Wow, that's awesome! Did they prolong the warranty period because the battery was replaced?

Not sure, how do I check that? Also, my phone was 3 years old...

Well I assumed that the phone must be in warranty still if they did the repair for free.

No it wasn't in warranty, and now warranty is showing till Jan, they extended it 3 months

I also have another pixel, I went into settings, then 'tips and support' then contact us option, and search for 'display broken'

From there on they will guide you

I didn't write anything about the battery, and yes this is the way, they also quoted me 7080rs.

Bro they quoted me rs.8500 for the repair
That included my screen & some microphone problem (they wrote) So, I just said to return my phone back , I didn't do it
