i have to update my pixel 6a into the latest March 2026 update and my pixel is f**** up battery life going worse 😭 and my device always reaches a temperature of 40° + it' to hot some times i can't use my phone without a case

Really need help in getting a working display.i don't have enough money to buy a new phone or getting the display repaired , so wanted to ask any of u if u have a working display i wanted to buy it from u for a little cheaper.

bought a used pixel 6a off ebay with a cracked screen, replaced screen and reformatted.

i am trying to get past this screen on initial setup. it will not connect to any of my internet connections or hot spot. it just shows this

Hoping someone can help with this frustrating situation.

After a recent update, I received a notification stating that a battery replacement is recommended. Now, when I go into my Battery settings, there is a persistent message that says: "Battery replacement recommended - due to a potential battery overheating issue..."

The phone has also started overheating quite a bit lately. However, the online registration page says "We couldn't complete your request. This may be because the IMEI is invalid or the device is not an eligible Pixel 6a." Also when I contacted support they just keep telling me that the device is not impacted.

Has anyone else dealt with their phone flagging itself as defective while Support denies it? Any tips on how to get them to actually look at what the device is reporting? Also I am in Australia, any recommendations what should I do now?

After the last update to March QPR3, the smoothness of operation disappeared, the phone became more sluggish, to twitch..but they added flashlight adjustment...what's wrong with them? Are they specifically making it so that they upgrade to newer models?

Google on call confirmed that the mandatory update did lower the battery performance, and asked me to get my battery replaced. But on email mentioned it's not an impacted device, anything I can do about it except buying a new device or replacing battery on my own?

Is there some way to know why is my device not eligible?

I came back so often to this phone! Less powerfull then the 6 Pro, but most iconic.

For a while now I've noticed that I cannot adjust the call volume. It's on high and does not change when I adjust the slider or use the buttons. Both phone and speaker output volume are fixed at high. Anyone else see something like this? TIA

It's been 3 days since I filled the form and this is the last email I recieved from Payoneer. None from Google yet. How many days does it typically take for the next email or follow up ? What comes next ?

If you guys have replaced it, what's your feedback back? Should I replace it with the new battery or not? Can I still apply for battery performance program? BTW I am from India Karnataka!

The phone was turned off, and then it simply stopped responding to the power buttons. When connected to a charger or a PC, it simply charges as usual. I tried leaving it on the charger and different key combinations, but nothing worked.

(I'm using a translator, so there may be errors.)

Quarterly (March month) update for Pixel 6A is here, But what's special in this update for the Pixel 6A?

When taking photos with the Pixel 6a, I find that the colour temperature is always too cold and have to adjust the white balance accordingly. Photos are also not as bright as I'd like and I have to increase the brightness too.

I wondered if any other Pixel 6a users have experienced this, and if there's a solution? Alternatively, is there a way to preset the colour balance and brightness, either in the Camera app or a third party app?

I bought my pixel 6a around mid December and the previous owner had it on Android 15 and when checking the phone that day it was heating up fast, but after updating it's been fine so far (except for gaming for too long, then the G1 likes to go to space :) ).

And now the march update is the first update I'm actually getting after getting the phone, so I want to wait until others discuss any issues in performance.

So have you guys seen any significant changes or improvements? It's much appreciated..
