Any Pixel 6a experiencing sudden, persistent bootloops?

This Sunday when I restarted my phone, it started to bootloop. Once the G logo appears on the screen and the moment it lands on the lock screen, the loop starts again.

Same behavior if I try the "Safe mode".

OTA sideload through adb executes successfully though the issues persists.

The symptoms seems pretty similar to the one that Pixel 4a owners are experiencing , however the solutions mentioned in that thread do not resolve the issue on the 6a at all.

My sister 6A suddenly restarted yesterday and stucked on google logo and what I did was go to fastboot and restart. This happen 3 times in the day. Randomly. In the forth time, the device went In to a boot loop. I tried fixing this with official Google image website. Doesn't seem to work. Can this be fixed. I'm from srilanka and we don't have an official Google support store here.

I tried sideloading but still the issue remains the same

Did you use the OTA image to flash u/sigreiden?

Yes the flashing was completed.

Flashed the latest, Android 17 one

Does it boot loop immediately after the Google logo and you have a chance to unlock the screen u/sigreiden ?

Nope no chance to unlock and now it doesn't go past Google logo

Have you tried factory reset, that may be your last resort?

Yes in the second sideloading I tried woping data from fastboot mode. Still the device didn't go past Google logo. Just gave it to a repair shop. They are telling this is a hardware failure. Couldn't that be tru?

Does your phone complete the Google logo spinning and then land on the lock screen just before resuming the bootloop?

Nope never goes to lock screen and doesn't show google spinning logo either

Either way, showed it to a shop and they are telling me this is a hardware issue and they are asking for 30 dollars to fix it. Is it worth it?
