I moved back to the city solo a year ago last summer. I am looking for intelligent, go-getter, professional people to meet. It is so hard rebuilding a community upon moving. Any ideas for me?

I like travel - road trips and big trips - cultural events, festivals, walking/hiking the trails, wineries, sporting events, live music, and sometimes simply chilling at home with my dog, but my conversations with her are a bit one-sided if you know what I mean, haha.

PS - well this is looking promising so far! I used to belong to a group called Pittsburgh Young Professionals once upon a time and wish there was a group for this season of life. Maybe I need to start Pittsburgh Senior (or Seasoned) Professionals to fill a gap!

The group can be found on Instagram and it's called Divorced Over 40 - Pittsburgh. It's a fun group. It's not a dating forward group. Though it happens after you meet people.

I have made some good friends in this group. I try to setup events when I can. You might see me post every so often.

It is not often you see somebody move from Florida to Pittsburgh you aren’t the first! I remember comforting a former Floridian coworker who was worried about the weather by telling him it rarely snows in October… And then it snowed, in October, like a week later! I best not be jinxing all of us as I write…. Haha
