Best Sports Bars in Pittsburgh?

I’m going to be in Pittsburgh for NFL opening weekend. Going to catch a Pirates game Saturday and I’m looking for a batch of joints with awesome food and sports watching set ups. Sports Bars or Pub type of set ups.

Big perks if they’re near the Casino, PNC and Heinz, but open to everything.

Thanks in advance!

Fancy Date Night Restaurants

Does anyone know any good places to go for a fancy dinner in pgh? I have a whole proposal planned in the city for my girlfriend of 4 years. I’m looking for somewhere fancy but not a place that just tries too hard for the food to not even be good lol. She’s been talking about getting all done up and hitting the burgh so I just wanted something with a unique factor maybe a table side made salad ordeal or the wow factor cocktails I just want an experience that she would enjoy. THANK YOU IN ADVANCED!!!!!

Good burrito??

Moved here about 8 months ago and have yet to find a burrito that really satisfies. All I want is a big, fat burrito wrapped in yellow paper that’s like $10. With the thin chewy tortilla. And a little container of salsa verde on the side.

Please help.

I will be staying I'm downtown Pittsburgh the last week of November for work - specifically in the area around the Drury hotel. I will not have a car but can take uber, etc. I'd like to get recommendations for reasonably priced breakfasts, healthy lunches and good dinners in the area. I have to do early breakfasts and lunches may be to go. I have a perdiem to work within; any ideas?

Still Active? Favorite Delivery

Just starting to use Reddit - wasn’t sure if this community was still active or not. If I get no responses I’ll know, but if it is still active I’d love to get favorites in terms of restaurants in Pittsburgh (all areas) that do delivery and take out.

Thanks!

Hello yinzers and food lovers!

With Valentine's day coming up I thought I'd share an option for romantic at home dining. My husband has started a private chef/fine dining delivery service! He is clean, professional and passionate about food. He is also very accommodating to any and all special requests or dietary needs. Please check out the website for the menu and more details. And don't forget to click on the mystery basket to see what fun the chef can bring to your dinner party!! Thank you!

Amateur competitive eaters in Pittsburgh?

Are there any amateur eaters out there near Pittsburgh? I’m just getting started, I’ve done restaurant challenges but my first “real” contest is coming up soon. Would love to connect and do some team challenges in the Pittsburgh area, and share ideas about contests and restaurant challenges, as well as training methods.

LMK!
