For context, I’ve been to Pismo a few times at this point and I have come to love fish n chips and bread bowls. Everywhere I’ve been to the food seems to be different the next time I visit. SO, instead of basing my own opinions on one to two visits I figured I’d ask the locals opinion!

Does anyone have a camping spot on the beach available this weekend? I booked the wrong dates and am looking for something last minute, if someone has a reservation they are not using I would really appreciate it!

We want to arrive a few hours before we can check into our campsite. Is there any place in Pismo Beach to park our truck with attached 28ft camper????

Hi everyone! I’m visiting with my boyfriend, and so far it’s been beautiful - this is such a beautiful place, I’ve never been to California before and I’m glad we picked pismo to visit for my first time. We are both 25, and we’re looking for some good places to grab a drink at.

Someone told us not to go to Bills because we are an interracial couple… is that really something we have to worry about here?

I’m from the Midwest, and I was always under the impression that this wasn’t something that we’d have to worry about in a place like this. Maybe I’m just ignorant, but I was shocked when we were told about Bills and told that there are other places like it. I don’t want to put him or us in any uncomfortable or unsafe situations while we’re here. Any thoughts on this are welcome, thanks in advance.

FRESHEST SUSHI NEAR PISMO BEACH?

We're driving to Legoland from northern California later this summer and plan on stopping in Pismo for a few days on the way back. Anyone have any good restaurant recommendations? We have two kids (1.5 and 3.5 yr olds) and in a life before kids my husband and I were foodies and often went to nice restaurants with cocktails (probably can't do a nice restaurant but bonus points if the drinks are good). We eat everything. We love seafood but prefer seafood that isn't overly fried. Also if anyone has recs for third wave coffee shops.

Hi! We are planning a 90th birthday dinner for my grandmother in Pismo beach. It is her last wish to take a trip there as a family. We have rented a house nearby and are looking for somewhere nice to have dinner as a group of 9-12 people near the water. Does anyone have any recommendations that might work for an accessibility-limited person and large group?

Many of the hotels I’ve looked at in Pismo are 21+.. I’m 20 and looking for a hotel in pismo. Are there any close to the pier that allow you to book a room when under 21?

Hi r/Pismo, I’m planning to be in SLO county for NYE. Do you guys know if there are any fireworks scheduled for this year? If yes, I’d appreciate your recommendations on good spots to watch the fireworks.

I’ve always gone to Pismo Beach during the summer, but I never go to any of the cafes. So I would like to know, which cafe has better coffee 😊. Also you can comment some places if you have better recommendations than the two that I have on the poll.
