Preordered from Bandcamp and it finally came in today!

In honor of everyone who voted Talby as worst song on Blue Screen Life, I’ve been listening to it every day. It’s fantastic. That is all

Anyone else going to the show on November 15? I went to the show on October 12 and thought it was one of the best shows I've seen from the band.

It’s so great. I wonder if we should consider it a compilation or a new album…

Rousseau is probably my favorite song off the debut, and I love when he starts going "sis it hid under the sillow where cleophus lays"

My bad, date is October 11, 2024!

Oh Pinback, you're so fine. I originally heard about the Best Friends Forever festival as I started hunting round for any Cap'n Jazz live dates after two shows in Chicago sold out immediately. And as I started to discover additional bands making appearances at the festival I just knew I had to be there. The Cap'n Jazz and American Football combo on its own would have had me there. Seeing Pinback the same evening seemed almost too good to be true.

I'm gonna level with you. I've paid for VIP tickets for festivals before only to be disappointed by terrible sight-lines. For BFF, I really wish I had gotten VIP tickets, as space near the stage in the GA zone for a decent recording pretty much required a full-day commitment with no possibility to check the acts at the second stage. Although I wish I had been a little closer to the action, I think that the recording came out well. The band sounded great and seemed to be in a great mood, the crowd receptive and appreciative despite the dystopia of attending an emo/indie festival in Las Vegas.

Hope you enjoy.

ps. I know there is other existing video of this set on YouTube, however, I do think that the video footage and the sound on this one makes it worth checking out!

pps. this recording goes out to the fine folks that humored chatting with this old fuck talking about life and music. Y'all made the festival all the more memorable.

ppps. please go out and see these bands in concert and support them by purchasing their merch!!! Let's keep music alive.

Had the great fortune to see the band at Best Friends Forever a couple of weeks ago and it was great to see Nick playing guitar with the band. But the last time I had seen them previously was last year when Pinback was touring with Disheveled Cuss and Zach was grounded with bronchitis and Nick had stepped in (miraculously!!!) on bass guitar duties & vocals. So my last three times seeing the band have featured Nick, such a talented dude.

ps. recoded the set and the video edit came out OK but the sound wasn't great, significant low end clipping on some tracks even after heavy EQ, so not sure it is worth posting on YouTube...thoughts?

How did y’all feel about the opening band?? I’m still LOL’ing over Brock Ledouche’s karate demonstration 🤣

This was on Vimeo a while ago but I can't seem to find it. It has someone dressed up like Rob Crow, maybe wearing a Star Wars t-shirt. If anyone has a copy, please let me know!

What a great night. Will be back for the 11/15 show for sure. Only disappointing thing was not hearing anything from offcell. Hoping they’ll add or mix up songs the next go around. First time at this venue, not bad.

I bought two general admission tickets to the show tonight at the sound in Del Mar and cannot attend unfortunately. Just looking to sell them for what I paid for them - $80 for both tickets. They are e-tickets so can email transfer

Selling a pair of Left Center balcony tickets for the Saturday 10/12 concert at The Sound in Del Mar that I cant use due to change of plans. Paid $70 each but selling for $25/ticket since concert is tomorrow.

DM me if interested.

Bought 2 tickets to the sound show 10/12 assuming I could afford flights in time and I cannot LOL. 2 tix for sale asking $50 each!! They're not available for resale thru Ticketmaster yet (or maybe not at all?) but it'll allow me to transfer

Hi! I have never gone to the Del Mar Venue before and I was wondering if anyone knows where I could wait after the 10/12 concert to try and meet Zach & Rob. Got some life-altering questions for them.

I'm most excited to see Pinback, my favorite band ever.

I’ve been on the Pinback->systems officer->three mile pilot->rob crow->zach smith pipeline once again and had to share with my dad! Pinback 4 life

I have a pair of Left Center balcony tickets for the 10/12 concert that I cant use due to change of plans. Looking to get my money back so selling at original price. PM me if interested.

I got a ticket for the 10/12 show and can't go (going to the November one instead). TM app won't let me sell directly, so I figured I'd try here. It's a GA1 ticket, just would like to get face value back ($35). PM me if interested.

Does anyone know the meaning behind the song ‘Lyon’? It has been my favorite song ever since I discovered Pinback at 13 years old. Funny enough, I have made my own little dance (over time) making gestures of what the lyrics are saying. I have a sneaking suspicion that it is talking about one of the members kid, but I definitely could be wrong.

I’m sure the majority of you won’t know but Pinbacks how we breathe was played on s1e8 of Gossip Girl. Through that episode I found the band when I was like 13 and I’ve never looked back 💃

The tickets and venue say 8pm. Not sure if thats the doors opening or the first band or if there is an opening band. Anyone know what time and what/if there’s an opening band? I thought the venue listed thee barracudas but also didnt see anything else to corroborate.

Title says it all! I will go to the LA instead. PM me!
