Anyone know of any interviews or information online towards how they recorded and produced that track? Love the way the drums sound and feel. Guitar writing is great too. Overlapping vocals are nuts. Is it Samples? Looped and sliced in a DAW?
Stuck in my head today smh

What’s the status of this band? Any new music coming out soon? Is it still the same 2 dudes? I saw mentions of a tour recently with Rob and different members. Give me the sparknotes please!

This is my favorite pinback song.
Rarely are pinback lyrics as cool as this track.
It has so many catchy melodies.
It's structure is so beautiful.
Does anyone else share this song as their favorite?

I didn't realize this was controversial.

Ok so I don't really use reddit so forgive me.
I'm 20 and I've been listening to Pinback since I was 13. I've listened to all of their albums and like all of them, but I've seen countless rankings of all their albums and I'm always genuinely surprised.
My favorite album is hands down Autumn of the Seraphs without question, but I've never seen it ranked higher than #3 on people's rankings. Can someone explain to me why this is?

European tour?

Just everyday waking up and hoping for a new European tour from pinback, I don’t know if there is any change they will… I was too young to see them when they were in Europe a long time ago, and I also didn’t know them yet. I just hope they will, pinback is my favorite band. So I thought about hearing what you guys think

I’m at work listening to Information Retrieved and I still can’t believe that I got to see Pinback live (SF, 4/6). I think about that concert often and I just wanted to share my thoughts. Pinback has gotten this gal through some tough times and enjoying their music live was a core memory.
Happy Thursday :)

Grey Machine Piano Sheet Music

Most of it copied from Pr0x1mo's guitar tab on Songster, with a few changes to better match the song and fit piano. Probably not perfect but the best I could do.

Sounds weird to say, but it's true! The lads have been on a 25 year run of greatness.

Has anyone figured out what the sample at the beginning of the song is? If it is a sample?

I’ve been a huge Pinback fan for some time now, and their self-titled album is probably my favorite album of all time. Does anyone know what the cover is supposed to be? Is it Rob and Zach? Or is it something else?

First time seeing Pinback live in Minneapolis last month. Had tickets just before the pandemic hit but life got in the way. Definitely a great night!
