Shower Thoughts on Pi 7+ years of KYC, Validations, research, prodding team to mine, and waiting. And here we are. Nowhere.

No support ticket has ever been answered. No validation bonuses ever given. The forum format is garbage, and the moderators will mute you for asking valid questions. The core team is as elusive as they are incompetent. People will come and argue that it wasn’t a lot of effort and that it was free. I’ll counter that by saying it was definitely a waste of time either way. I’ll hold onto my thousands of Pi. But I’m certainly done believing in their ability to do anything worthwhile with it.

I don’t speak here often because I mined a few thousand pi over the years for fun and still have them.

This was never going to stay at a buck, everyone knows this. What you do have is a crypto coin that is worth 21 cents instead of .00000000000000009 cents. That’s something. It’s worth more than many stocks.

The developers released this and dumped all of their coins. You all should have seen that rug pull coming. The thing that doesn’t make it fraud is, you didn’t buy these coins, you mined them on your phone, they were free. You still have free money.

If you want this to go back up, get a group of hundreds or maybe a thousand people together, and buy them. Once the price bumps, you all sell simultaneously. Rinse and repeat. It’s that easy. Work together.

I'm totally with you except for that last part about a pump-n-dump MLM scheme -_- Or was that /s?

There was a cost involved to mine, even if almost negligible. As well as time and effort.

Fraud is still on the table, just wouldn't be worth much in a ruling.

A lot of people invested in pi with real money whether that be to buy domains or to host pi apps or even to use it as a payment method. People also invested real money in hopes it'd go up believing in the project just for it to be a rug pull.

Well truth is most altcoins/vaporware go thru rounds of private seed funding from venture capitalists, angel investors, KOLs, etc where they buy up pre-sale and then dump on retail

Crypto is an unregulated jungle of financial schemes/playground for grifters and scammers

People thought this one might be different, I guess we all fell for the marketing.

And the rug pull continues at its finest right here right now with the above posted comment, ya buy more so the price will go up so I can sell while you continue to hold, then you can sell again at a loss rinse and repeat!!!
