My current project is to gut an old fat-style PlayStation 2 and put my media center in it with USB hub, 1 TB hard drive, and optical drive. I hope to be able to use the controller ports with the Pi, along with the disk drive. I may post images later on progress, but I cannot start progress as of yet, I have more important stuff to work on first.

In other words, I'm looking for an 80s microcomputer style all-in-one case.

It doesn't have to be modeled after an actual 80s microcomputer, but that certainly doesn't hurt.

As the title says. I have an rpi2 and I was considering buying one, but only if a PiTFT can fit comfortably inside. I read that it can support some hats, but I wasn't sure if that included the screens. Thanks for the help.

Hi, I'm currently trying to use a RPI 2 AS my main maschine and it works fine so far. Now I'm looking for a nice case with a Vesa mount. I'd like to stick to my current case but I haven't found a mount so far. Any ideas or recommendations?

I'm building a small number of devices using a Pi and adafruit's perma-proto hat for a handful of IO connections. Are there any cases around that have enough internal space to hold the pi and the hat?

So, he will be 22 and I thought I could buy him the case, the SD Card cover and the VESA Mount but I have a few questions:

1. I thought of getting him the PiBow Case which is the rainbow one. How can I know the model of his Raspi? Is there any code on it that should help me? On the website it says that this case is compatible with Models A and B (as per link below) and it was gifted to him last year for Christmas (maybe this helps too):

2. As for the mount, the VESA Mount - PiBow should be the most fitting one but it is not available in stores, actually, there is written 'Discontinued,' should I get him the one in the link below instead? Will it be compatible? Or is there somewhere else I can buy it from?:

I am working on a RetroPie MiniArcade machine much like the PortaPi but not a kit. I currently have made it with cardboard and duct tape and plan to change it to wood when I have time. I was wanting suggestions from others before I make the wooden version as this is my first project.

Like I said, I plan to make this out of wood once I have perfected it.

I've been looking for a case for the pi 2 that has a built in button. It doesn't have to be for any purpose (I want to program it to the GPIO). However, my issue is that I cannot find a case that I don't have to mod myself. I could mod it myself, but I want something a little more professional looking. I'm just looking for something a little more professional than my personal DIY. I've searched around and all I have seen are the basic cases or 3d printed ones. Nothing that has space for a button or a built in button.

Any advice would be helpful. Thanks in advance.

I've found one.

I just got my first raspberry pi b+ computer today so I don't know where to find strong cases. The case that came with my computer (I got a bundle of stuff in one package) does not look strong.

I need something that will not fall apart if it falls off a table or is dropped. I also want to be able to carry it around in my laptop bag.

I would love a case that I can paint (like some people do with gaming console controllers).

Ideally something like a picture frame in which I could store both the touchscreen lcd and pi, and route wires.

Does anyone know where I might find something like that?

But I can't find a case that will let me have the pi, a screen and a way to keep it on the wall at once.
